- Thought I’d take the opportunity to talk through my cars full spec and mod list so far!
Will be cool to compare this video to a video of my car in 1 years time.
I’ve owned the car for 10 months so far, it’s certainly changed a lot 🔥

I know it's not the same but I have an 08 a3 1.9tdi stage 1. Recently got rid of the dpf, the cat and the backbox. It made such a big difference. On a RS3 it should be even bigger. :D Strongly recommend
Nice mate! I bet it drives way better with all that crap taken off 🤣😉. Obviously there’s no dpf on an rs3, I would take the back box off but it’s needed for the stock valved exhaust system to work 🙈 can’t wait for an aftermarket system though bro!! 😎
Great video for us 8P enthusiasts. You have done the essentials. The car would impress with a stage one tune, i did a stage one tune on mine at Christmas and it’s a different car. Have to put on Michelin Pilot 4S’s on this week the Good Years i have on can’t keep up!

@@AutoBay l have the car for two years now; i bought it with a Milltek non resonated and secondary decat exhaust and a K&N replacement filter; very loud in sport mode. Just before Christmas i took the car in to see how much power it was making . It made 352bhp and 480Nm of torque stock. The garage announced their stage one tune at 422bhp but we only got 411bhp and 590Nm of torque; i have to go back to see if they can lower the torque because with a spirited take off the street lights, the traction control flashes in 1st and second gear, my tires are crap though; and it’s winter. The take off and acceleration are just brutal. Need them pilot sports now before i crash that beast.
@@delta5703 very nice power mate! Definitely get your tyres changed before going to reduce your torque if I were you mate, there’s loads of people running much more torque than that and they don’t spin, if it’s still spinning with new tyres check if your haldex pump needs doing, a common issue on these where the font wheels like to spin! Either way, I bet it shifts 🤣🤣💪🏼 can’t wait to map mine now!!

What sort of mileage has your RS3 done mate? I just got rid of my M140i and looking at more something like this. Not sure I can face paying the price tag for an RS3 8V. Only thing that's making me umm and ah with the 8P is there only seems to be high mileage examples remaining I say high mileage as in 80K+, and yeah I am trying to account for the fact most 8P examples will now be 10-12 years old. Keep up the great vids.
Mine is on 47,000 now bud. I almost bought an m240i! Glad I didn’t however, I really wanted AWD in the end. Keep your eye out bud, they always pop up, I suggest joining a few Rs3 pages mate, they often post loads for sale. The 8v is a lot more, and also really common, the 8p is the one you want 😉. Age isn’t an issue with these cars mate, they’re so ahead of their time, the performance is outstanding, the interior may be a little dated now but h this acts easily changed 💪🏼
Hi mate, quite late to the video.. hopefully you'll still see my comment. I'm looking into buying an rs3 8p or a tt rs 8j, should I be concerned with oil consumption with this engine? I had an 1.8 tfsi before and I had to top it up with 1L every 500 miles and I do not want to return to that. Many thanks :)
Not a problem mate! I had my RS3 8P
For 2.5 years. And never noticed that the car was ever burning oil! It was spot on 👌🏼👌🏼

Have you thought about getting the black rotar alloys I think it would top the car off 🔥
I certainly have mate, it’s either gloss black with dim and cut rotate or some sick aftermarket wheels I’ve found in silver 🤔

Which l.e.d rear number plate lights did u install? I payed £30 for mine which is the whole units not just the tiny bulbs and I still have the error light on the dash
