It snowed today in Sweden so I figured today is as good a day as any go for a run in the local woodland and test out the DJI Osmo Action 3. Let me know what you think. I originally wanted this to be a zone 2 run but I underestimated how heavy the snow would get on my feet. Setup My camera - amzn.to/3tQUkjw Shoes: Vivobarefoot Primus Trail Knit FG - amzn.to/3FEzEhu

3:37 Double glazing in 1904? You sure?
where are you bro?
just buy the bits around your home !
I really hope you have a firearm in that super remote area. How else will you defend yourselves if something happens? 😮
Were double glassed windows already in the beginning in the late 19th/early 20th century. Definitely not here in Iceland.
It looks like a great buy! Best wishes on your many projects! Enjoy!
How amazing super exciting
Måste get the ball rolling again 😁
OMG. Now we know why the property was so cheap
There is, of course, an online map to look at to see all the planned felling of forests
Noticed in this and other videos with English people. Call a ceiling a roof. Ceiling is interior, roof is exterior.
Yep you’re right, It’s quite an English thing to do and of course we all understand each other because of the context and because it is understood
Hello!!When does the product expire??Do you keep it at the fridge?
As you aren’t using water, it takes a lot longer for the product to go bad. I have mine for months and it is fine throughout the whole term, but I’m not entirely sure
Thank you so much for answering!! What type of contenier do you keep it?
@Quizmyswlf no problem, I use a glass jar and then I have a batch in a shallow metal tin. If you do decide to use water, make sure to also use vitamin E as it prevents the water from making the product go bad.
@@theNamesPhillip one last thing and I will stop bothering you!! I tried to find you on insta and couldn't find you. Do you have an insta account?
If that's the southside then that red blind will do you wonders during the summer both shading the room and cooling the house. That's what awnings of that type do, and way too many people remove them and then suffer during the summer and over compensate with their other cooling units.....
We need an update, how's it all going!
Will update shortly! I plan on getting back into making videos, just had some health things to deal with :)
@@theNamesPhillip I've loved watching your house / grounds clips. Naturally I'd love to see more videos but your health and sanity comes first. Best of luck and wishing you well from England x
Hi, great to see the house and how you both make a great life for yourselves Without wanting to know the address 😅 could you point out the proximity/ kommun where you bought your house for such a prize? We just moved to Hagfors kommun and are renting a house for now, looking for our own place. So that why i ask, not to be rude or anything 😊
Thank you so much for making this video! As a young adult it is very helpful for my understanding of the world, job& housing market to see a video where you are transparent about what costs come with a house. You have a beautiful house and magical winter around it! Wish you all the best on your new life journey! ❤❤
I just watched your video…interesting. I’ve been wearing barefoot for a year. I have tried both. I was diagnosed with Footdrop in my left foot 2 years ago, lots of tests & only diagnosis was muscle weakness. I tried zero drop after I found walking barefoot meant I could actually walk, but I then went to barefoot & have not looked back…even finding strengthening in my muscles. I would add I’ve always worn flat shoes, no high heels - ever, so I don’t know if this helped with my quick transition
Is the faux American accent intentional?
Half English half Irish, not faux american
Will this melt in hot weather? I.e. 25 celsius or 80 fahrenheit and up
This batch didn’t with these measurements but if you are worried, just increase the ratio of shea to coconut oil and it should be good. Coconut oil melts quickly
Love this; but you seem a bit too focused on safety and regulations and insurance. Living is risky. Chill ☺️
Anyone know why there is no more new videos?
Heya, have been dealing with health issues and other things so I’ve needed to take a bit of a break with the hope of coming back soon. Sorry for the lack of uploads
With Heat?
I'm very thankful for rhis information tou have given that's why I've subscribe to you.😍💪
linseed oil won't protect anything.
it's almost christmas did you fix the chimney
RE: those fireplaces? Even though you likely have access to pretty cheap firewood -- if financially possible, I'd invest in converting ALL OF THEM to pellet stoves. Unless of course, you want to be a lifetime slave to buying (or chopping and splitting) wood, carrying wood, laboriously building wood fires, cleaning up the ash piles, etc. Don't know if huge bags of pellets are cheap in Sweden (they are elsewhere). And, RE: the electrics? IF you can afford it, I would rewire the whole house, starting with a proper circuit breaker box. The fire hazard in an all-wood structure, with ye olde-timey fuses and god-knows what inside the walls . . . would seem to be extreme. Re: long-run heating? IF (sometime) you can afford it, a ground pipe GEOTHERMAL / heat pump system to replace all your boilers (and maybe even power the under-floor heating) would be AWESOME. Along with (of course -- SHRIEK -- completing insulation and dual-pane windows throughout. GOOD THING THAT YOU'RE YOUNG!!! Anyhow, VERY fun video, thank you and GOOD LUCK with all of it!

Like you said insulation is important. I grew up in northern Wisconsin in the states where we have some of the widest temperature swings in the US. We grew up with 10-14 days of winter reaching -26C with 1-3 of those day reaching -40C. We also had several weeks in summer reaching 34C and even a day or two up to 39C. Insulation made a huge difference in heating and cooling. It is the largest expense of any old home, and where comfort becomes an issue quite quickly. During summers you want to ensure you have great airflow. So at night when it is a reasonable temperature you can open your windows and let the cooler air in at night and close them up and keep the cooler air in during the day. I would leave those boards on the lower ceiling. That will help the heat move upstairs better. If you want a different look I suggest white washing the boards if you want to lighten it up. I myself would prefer the natural wood look. But we all have different tastes. What I would do ASAP is get someone with a FLIR camera who specializes in energy efficiency for homes. During the winter it is much easier to see exactly where you are losing heat and figure out the best ways to tackle it from there. Around windows, especially older ones is one of the most likely sources.
Its beautiful but there's nothing more demoralising than a cold house . I'm assuming you're rushing the work needed to get those chimney back in action ? in the meantime install some cheap Chinese diesel heaters . You can buy all in one units very inexpensively ( 100 euros ) that only need small exit for the exhaust then they're up and running immediately . A cheap easy way to heat spaces quickly !!
In the past, Sweden was one of my favourite countries. Now criminality level is terribly high! Awfull!
Source / statistics proving your statement?
@@Ye-Olde-Veteran-FR Source / statistics proving that it's not true? :P
@@f2lo2 feel like its on you to provide them considering you made the initial point
@@theserhoratio I don't feel that. It's my opinion and I don't have to prove anything!
@@f2lo2 so Sweden's 'criminality level' is increasing in your opinion? with all due respect that means nothing, facts prove statements like that, not opinions
Imo the forests that have some deforested areas interspersed are actually quite a bit nicer. It makes for some different habitats, and such. So I don't think it will be like living in the middle of a parking lot for you guys.

@@theNamesPhillip Cool name and house! Hoppas ni kommer trivas i huset. 😎
Are there no space heaters in Sweden
Get the chimneys fixed, minus temps, brrr. Thanks for this info, there are so many videos on YT of folks buying houses in North Sweden, in the wilderness. Winter -20 degrees, dark winter grey days. They make it look so appealing in the Summer months. I've seen a few videos where the chimneys need fixing.
I am shocked. I live in Austria and the place we rent apartment from has 24inch thick walls and plastic double glazed windows. It must be so cold in the house, hopefully you can fix up the insulation and fireplaces :)
Shoot me on the head 😂 Mate, why???
Classic Swedish house, You should see mine, been renovating it for 8 years. best thing I did was adding another layer in insulation, these old houses have saw dust packed into the walls.
Well done. Some times to fix is much easier than to build one. Make a list and move on.
Wow, that is a beautiful home. It is about 169k Canadian dollars-a steal in Canada. The average house in my city, Victoria, BC, is a million plus! Get those things fixed, starting with the chimneys, and you are set! I wonder, though, why they would build even an add-on with no insulation, knowing the winters there are extremely cold.
Great video, really informative, and nice presentation manner; I love the traditional Swedish stairs!
Hey phillip , thanks for making this video as i didn't had any idea that we can make this at home as well. Moreover, can we use this daily or how many days you suggest using it ?
Thank you!! Been having extremely dangerous allergic reactions to several different brands. 3 times in the hospital! I will be trying this for sure!!
It looks like the trees was in a really bad shape and as an owner of forrestland you know that it is very necessary to take those trees down, fast
Wow! It must’ve been quite the shock to see all those trees taken down. But since a lot of them actually were sick, I guess it may be a good thing to keep the forest healthier. They also seemed to be selective in which ones they took because there were “patches” of trees left behind where they were logging. Hopefully they’ve done it in a clean matter since it can be very dirty for the environment besides just taking down the trees.
The house is so cute!! That’s really scary though with the electrical panel in the bathroom. That doesn’t seem very safe. It probably wouldn’t be difficult to have that moved. It’s either move that or the entire bathroom which seems like it’d be more work. You can probably get quotes to see what works best for you and your wallet. Can’t wait to see all you do in your new home! It has a lot of potential.
