Had a few questions though that i was wondering if you could either answer here or in a video. where do you look when buying these cars/how do you spot a good deal that you think you can flip. what search terms do you use when looking for cars to buy since not everyone knows what it is they are selling and might list it under weird names/discriptions do you recommend flipping nitro or electric cars? nitro seems easier/cheaper to repear since its eletronics are rather cheap. but harder to sell given the ristrictions on where the buyers can use them and nitro not being a good starting point for hobbiest limiting your resell pool. electric is expensive af to replace parts for (at least i think) but easier to sell due to being able to use them anywhere and easier to jump in and get started for new hobbiest. wishing you luck on the rest of the month for this project of yours since if you do well with it that means i have a chance to replicate it for myself. <3 <3 <3 also needless to say i liked and subbed <3

I think a spektrum sr215 reciever is almost the price of one of those cars. I like my DX5 Rugged but the reciever is a huge cost. Though apart from that sure there is money to be made but let the new owner decide what reciever they want and save some cash = more money for you.

My 2 Cents is you'd be way more profitable JUST looking for electric RC options on Marketplace. There are always dudes getting out of the hobby or quick sales to pay the bills, there are way more electric RC's out there, and there more desirable.... Most guys don't want the hastle of nitro/gas, they smell up your car, and they don't perform as well. I think your profit margins will be greater, bigger audience for sale, I have seen some great deals. Making 20-50$ profit off an RC I would think is not really worth the effort of fixing, testing, packing ebay fees sick a$$ etc time time time. But I have seen tons of deals where if I wanted I could make 100% profit or 1-4 hundred dollars with reasonable effort. I'm just saying if your gonna do all that might as well cater to the bigger market, gas/nitro is a very very small part of the market right now, sure there are plenty out there, but that ones purchased years and years ago, and dudes just HAVE them, most dudes purchasing new RC are gonna go electric even if they have owned gas in the past. The only guys I see hardcore Gas are the true 1/5th scale guys... And that is even a smaller market. My 2 Cents bud, you do you but just trying to help

Ha! I have watched that auction since you listed it. That missing battery cover is the deal breaker for me. I found 1 85209 parts tree on eBay in the last six months. Bought it for $55. Cover was missing. Wanna bet it comes to my town anyway?

Test some of the 8th scale tires on Temu, please. That would be a popular video because there is only one other person who has done that, but he tested smaller buggy wheels. I'm curious if the monster truck tires are decent. I don't have a very high opinion of Temu, but if their MT tires last half as long as the competition, they'd be a good deal since they're 1/3 of the price. I just got ny first 8th scale and I'm not in love with paying $150 for 4 tires. If the Temu ones are glued properly and don't tear, they'd be a good deal. PS: that is not an 8th scale. It's already hard to determine size of things when buying online and Temu usually throws a wrench in things by lying about the size (whether with Photoshop or misleading numbers). That's one of the many reasons i don't buy from them anymore. A customer service rep told me they have *no control* over what the vendors put on their product description, after i got a refund for a "100 watt" USB cable that said "30 watts" when i bought it. I said I didn't want a refund as long as they made the seller change their listing. No dice. Temu won't step in and stop vendors from CLEARLY lying about their products. Not that Amazon does much either, TBH, but at least the product pictures on Amazon are high enough resolution where you can spot any photoshopped trickery. Also, that body is thicker, yes, but it's clearly PVC and not Lexan, so it will crack easier than thinner Lexan bodies. Also, beware of Temu RC's waterproof claims. The one i bought wasn't damaged by water, but the battery was ruined, it went into shutdown protection and won't charge, just from driving after it rained on the concrete.

Be really interested in how much you paid, how much parts cost and how much you listed it for. I can see why you might hesitate to do that but it's really essential for a video series about making money. Otherwise it's just a video series of you rebuilding cars.

The excavator actually seems pretty decent! The dump truck on the other hand... The controller on the dump truck seems backwards to me. On those types of remotes, the throttle is typically on the left and the steering on the right. Did you find that to mess with you much at all? Or did the shape of the steering wheel make it easy to keep it straight?

I'm getting a new HYTOBP M*max, so I'm already going to have my first ever FPV drone. I've been flying RC fixed wing for 30 years now and really haven't thought too much about multi rotor drones. The ones I was first interested in were the BabyApe micros, mainly because I use their 1104 sized 4300 kV brushless motors to remotor old worn out GWS gear drives with, for powering/ yard flying my balsa and film and artboard scratchbuilt models. The problem with these nice quality micros is they end up costing a lot and they have some, to my mind at least, really complex receiver and app requirements. Simple works better for my understanding and enjoyment and if the M*max is at least as decent as the drone you're reviewing, I'll be really happy.

So I've bought Amazon's 1080p beginner brushless HYTOBP M*Max drone for $49.99 and awaiting it's arrival. From doing some searches and threads on RCGroup's Beginner's Drone subforum I've discovered that these $19~$60 drones are actually among the better new drone pilot's choice because of their performance. Here lately the cheap ones have caught up with the more expensive mini FVP drones. Some things I've noticed Banggood and Alibaba have much better prices by almost half but you might have a longer wait and shipping charges. Amazon has less variety for the additional cost but there generally is more in detail comments and reviews. I'm planning on flying mine LOS until I get comfortable with it in a crowded back yard with numerous fence posts small buildings and trees. What I've seen on other YT channels, focused on these drones is some suggestions: Charging flight batteries; If sent with a USB 3.0 to USB"C" mini charge chord you should use a 2 amp, 5 volt wall adapter cell phone charger instead. It will charge your battery, (depending on the voltage and Milli Amp hour capacity in about a couple hours. I'm surprised considering how cheap these wall-warts are that they don't include one. Get yourself familiar with all the features, and get the app for your phone and update it, if the version is an older one. My drone comes with waypoint path updating from the camera's view which you program through the downloaded drone app's phone screen interface, it would be neat to try out. The object avoidance and groundflow detection will save your drone from crashing and becoming a runaway, some of these come with GPS and magnetic North/South orientation and these will need some time to update and calibrate. play around with it in control setting 1 as the flight response is mellow and the GPS and internal gyros will try to keep the drone level and close by OK I'm giving a lot of advice for a drone noob. I have 30 years of flying RC fixed wing powered and slope, so I've got some RC control familiarity. the newer drone interfaces can be very complex and even harder to get set up correctly on the more expensive FPV drones, Patience and read the manual

You don’t need to pull the starter long, do it 1/8 inches at minimum so you wouldn’t break the pull starter, I hate how people they pull it all the way and break it making it impossible to make the car start and you will need a new pull starter, you cannot pull it up, just at minimum so you can’t pull it too harder…

I had to learn to walk again after being in the hospital so lone and I'm on a fixed income and can't afford a RC at all !
