I couldn't quit my job based on how my channel is going. Too much responsibility on my end to do that, but kudos to you for trying!

RC RUclips careers are almost impossible.... The amount of effort and time away from friends/family... Nope ... Best advice is Don't Bother.... There is just not the audience in RC unless you got in years ago and Your name is Kevin Talbot.... Love that dude, but not everyone can do that commitment of 14 hour days and his Ebay sales and course supported him in the beginning.
If you have like 60k subscribers you might pull in like 600 USD a month, so you need 150k++ to even dream about walking away from a full time job. And really closer to 300k.....a.d getting there is almost impossible these days.... Great RC Channels struggle to get to 20-30 K.... I mean my channel is the best and I'm at 5k😮😮 JK
I love making content and anyone will see with the effort I put I to my channel.... But it is what it is, I just do it for fun as often as I want.
If you not doing 2-3 shorts a day, 2-3 videos a week, active in social media, and putting in crazy hours it's just not possible because while I love our bashing RC worlds... There is just not the demand and honesty it's HARD to make your content stand out from every other channel that thinks they can be the next KT.... Again, my advice, do it for fun, it WilL NEVER be anything more than that unless you sell your soul 😂😂
    See ya round brother

My channel earns ~$5k a month between ad revenue and affiliate sales. It’s been within $1k of that for several months. It is hard, VERY hard, but it’s not impossible. Certainly a disproportionate amount of effort to earn that money. The hardest part I found was maintaining the work while not burning out and killing the joy of the hobby. Finding that balance is tough. Play the long game, reverse engineer what you need to meet your goals, and focus on micro progress every day/week/month and you’ll get there 👍🏻

What’s so cool about your channel is that you have incorporated you son into it. If the 2 of you can keep it going your son could have an awesome stream of income when he is older. I’m fortunate to love my job in IT. Some day we are gonna have to crawl together! I am only about an hour from the cape! Keep up the good work!

@@WickedRemoteControlwe should absolutely get together sometime! Would love to do a collab or just hit some rocks in general. I also love my full time job which takes the pressure off the RUclips income. I am thinking long term for Axel and if he can maintain interest, can step into the channel and earn a full time income from it and hopefully take it to new heights. Or it will just contribute to his college fund or startup funds for whatever else he decides to do 😊
