I had these! I had the same one the texture reminded me of sorbet kind of because it looked icy but it was so sweet most people say it taste like kiwi with watermelon, but i think it taste like water a bit of banana and cucumber

It's sweet when it's ripe, but quite bland and mild when it's unripe. They're normally a tad squishy, but still semi-firm when ripe. They're mainly unripe to keep them from rotting and getting damaged while being exported. It's harder to notice the difference in the yellow skinned and red flesh varieties though, as both are SUPER sweet.

I love dragon fruit. I find the white to be the least flavoursome, but they look so beautiful. I love having a mix of white, red and yellow skinned all together for a mix of flavour and colour. Have you had freeze dried dragon fruit? I've only seen red flesh freeze dried ones. The flavour is really intensified, and the lovely crispness is really nice. The colour is intensified too. I'll consider it if I ever need zone 10-11,I'm good otherwise,natures on my side around here. i can grow all 3 outside front or backyard,in my area it's snowned super lightly twice in 3 decades, flooded low lands miles from me once,and had to evacuate for a total of just one wildfire, and it's a quiet area otherwise usually.
