Think of it like this: Without energy he can: 1) Just hit hte enemy and then claw swipe. 2) Block Counter the enemy with perfect timing, dealing good damage! With energy he can: 1) Stil ljust slam his pillar into the enemy OR 2) Perfect Block the enemy, dealing massive damage, followed by a sweet follow up attack! Hope this helps!

Thats a good question. Im not sure theres really a rhyme or reason yet on who they rate up! Down the line, they will probably follow up with how Honkai Star Rail does it, where it features at least 1 character that can pair with the limited unit. For instance, Soukaku is an AMAZING teammate for Ellen already, so they probably thought she would be good to have also be on the banner. Hope this makes sense!

2.0 literally takes more or less a year regardless, ofc newer units will be more stronger but that doesnt mean old units will be unusable

I'm a meta first, design + gameplay second person because I want my units to have value for the majority of a game's lifespan (I don't like benching my old units in favor of new ones). I'm mostly aiming for a support unit S rank first, then stun, defense, and attack last.

@@Sirmarklee23 The only Hoyo game where powercreep is actually an issue is HI3. In Genshin and HSR, it's definitely there, but not to an overwhelming extent. Also, Diluc has a very solid plunge team nowadays.
