Guys, any idea what happened to this dude???

We clearly see that fosil Pokemon are much, much older then ancient Sinnoh aka Hisui in Legends Arceus, the reason we don't see them in the far past is because there was simply no way to revive these Pokemon from their fosils.

I really want to see a video that looks into the actual lore of the era side of things, considering the fact that the Tajiri Canon is inherently tied to real life in a way the Matsuda Canon isn't, and looking at the Red and Green lore guidebook. (Also fun fact, that lore book establishes France as the main hub of research in the early days, and guess where Mew was found? French Guiana)

I enjoy them playing the game. I’ve been wanting to watch people play Pokémon blue.❤

Regarding Aerodactyl, the Pterodactyl was first discovered in Germany, which is basically Europe, right by Kalos. In Kalos you get the old Amber in Ambrette Town. A fossil bed town and where the player also gets Aerodactylite. If there’s a home for Aerodactyl, based on what we have now, it’s here. That being said, Pterodactyl fossils are also found basically everywhere, including the Hokkaido/ Sinnoh location mentioned, but it wasn’t found until much much later (2010 later).

Let’s Go cannot be considered Cannon since you can legally 2v1 in those games

I think it was an early mechanic to make the player choose one with the starter pokemon which was quickly reviewed when yellow came out which was to help mimic the anime... so like you said, they're prolly just wandering about in the unreachable areas lol

Or maybe Team Rocket was storing them in their hideout until Red stopped them and eventually the poke.on escaped to nearby routes. Maybe rocket didnt make the curfew but were the reason was needed. After all we see very few cops in Kanto. Maybe they come out at night to ensure no rockets

The atarters are Kantonian just endangered species? It is nevwr mentioned in the games but can make sense

I thi k Porygon was made in silph co meaning it is Kantonian in origin..as for the starters I believe they are almost endganered species. Also technically slugma is likely from Knato it doesnt appear in that region until the volcano erupts. Also the safari pokemon found elsewhere may not be invasive maybe they lived in the zone before it was made and they just never relocated them. Also isnt lapras native to the seveii islands? Which technically are part of kanto so cant it be counted. I just finished the video and hward your comment about lets go and leaf green

But the fossils were given to you by a Super Nerd (Miguel, I think?) and you can't find them in Mt. Moon by yourself

Houndom and marcrow theory makes sense because there was some kind of problem while going to saffron city in the games before celadon because team rocket had control of both the cites and both of the Pokemon were only available between celdon and saffron in the night so it is possible they made everybody stay at homes or not cross the ways at night all through they had total control over those 2 cites

If you trade the glitch from gen 1 games to later versions like silver gold or crystal which will mess up the game btw if you trade it . .you see its a smeargle

I get why you said pokemon like slugma, houndour,larvatar, and murkrow are from kanto, but it does kind of go against your rules to place them there since kanto is post game content.

Slugma also appears in the seevi islands mt. Ember, and since fire red and leaf green happens before the gen 2 games, maybe the "first" time they are found is in this place, wich would make them native to there? But probaly they just live in almost all volcanos I don't know

Geologist here- you assumed the dome and helix fossils were “in-situ” which means in place within the rock. I supposed it’s a decent assumption since the fossils are in a cave, but it’s also hard to imagine a kid pulling a fossil out of solid rock ina. Few seconds. What if they were planted

Lapras can be caught in the Sevii Islands in Fire Red and Leaf Green

The Safari Zone thing makes perfect sense since it's literally said in Gen 1 that those Pokémon are brought there. But Eevee is catchable in the wild in Kanto in the "Let's Go" titles...

Another possible explanation for Houndour and Murkrow could be the magnet train. Maybe they were more reclusive or located elsewhere, but the construction (which certainly would have involved a tunnel) disturbed their prior habitat.
