Arthur rides out to Thomas Downes to collect a debt for Strauss. This is only part 1 of multiple parts for the next episode of Season 2. This episode has been very fun but very hard to work on. This mission alone has taken 3 months to make as there are so many variables that play into confronting Thomas Downes. We apologize this is a really short part, but longer ones are coming as well as the ...

I love this song❤😂
One of the best 🥰
It's crazy just how high quality the writing and acting is for all of these camp interactions that most people won't even notice.
@ENTProductions rockstar knew that putting all this into the game, would make people keep replaying it, hoping to see more stuff they haven't seen
Just wanted to say I'm so thankful for your hard work. Not only is the cinematography and editing great, but you've improved greatly since episode 1. Thank you again for your hard work
Thank you friend! No one wants this more than us. That's why we keep going 🥰
Phenomenal work man i'm truly amazed. This is incredible
Thank you partner! There is so much more on the way
@ i’m so impressed by the way you blended the missions/story events with open world activities you do as the player between the missions. The result is very natural and the cinematography in those open world activities scenes is very well executed very nicely done bro
@YaGars we appreciate you noticing. We have been experimenting with different ways to get those even more random events, like grimshaw coming up to tell Arthur about the letter. Or reverend coming up to arthur to say what ever. But we haven't figured out the best way to blend those in as well. We are trying though. Once we get the rest of the camp interactions, we will see how it goes into Mary. We are all about keeping the flow if possible. A lot of planning goes into these now.
The special thanks at the end is so cute, makes me feel like i’m a part of something big. This was an amazing watch, honestly. Even your end credits are emotional, just as emotional as the episode itself. You’re creating a cinematic masterpiece here, I hope you consider ACTUAL movie directing, no lie. I’d be your number one supporter.
Thats super sweet! I really appreciate it 🥰 One day yes, we will do some live action stuff. Gotta get the equipment for it tho. We would love to make a suspenseful horror movie we read many years ago. We have the script still. We even have thought about the locations. So one day partner 🥰
I’m only 8 minutes in and so far this is the best episode you’ve done yet
🥰🥰🥰 we are hoping you cry a little at the end
AHHHHHH IM LATE WHY DIDNT I GET NOTIFIED I HATE YOU YOUTUBW
🥰 youtube be weird sometimes. It's possible that someone uploaded around the time we did, and that notification blocked ours
5:10 Bro this part is so fire 🔥
We were so shocked when we captured it at the perfect time
Cry baby. I really hate Jack.
Best episode yet. I like the quiet moments. The serenity. Keep it up everyone!
@watsonrooney awww thank you partner!

😢
I feel like she's a bit ungrateful here. She was "saved" by Uncle, if he hadn't brought her to camp, she would have went on as a whore without anyone for herself. Although I understand why she wants better, that's damn ungrateful when she's fed and taken care off and doesn't have to sell her body anymore lmao
i've been waiting for this one! <3
And it's still not even done. But getting closer
The shot when the train left and we see that little shine in arthur's eye... the composition and the body language... so much said unsaid. It was a beautiful scene. Loved the episode!
@Inky125 thank you for noticing! Poor Arthur show so much emotion in this cutscene.
Montage near the beginning is cinema!
@Captain_Punch 🥰 thank you punch!
Amazing Video!! I didn't make it to the Premiere Yersterday But Other than that W Episode 🔥🔥 i didn't knew the conversation between Arthur and Jamie While riding back was longer than arthur saying "Please send him my worst regards" So thank you Guys. Can't wait for another Episode!
It's all good Dustman! We know that it was unexpected and came out of the blue. but yeah the ride to Valentine is pretty long if you go at a decent pace. We also could have went a different way they possibly would have been shorter, but we are happy with the route we took
This work is just stunning. I've done 8 playthroughs of this game but watching your videos still hits me in the guts each time. Such beautiful work & such clever, no genius editing. Cannot wait to see Lennyyyyyy"s episode.
@mummycool1 we appreciate it partner! 🥰
Awesome work! One question though. For the Camp interactions do you just wait for them to spawn and then record them on the spot? They always seemed super random to me.😂
They do seem random. But there is a way to find patterns. The interactions themselves can sorta be random unless you load up a save file. Usually spawning in, you will get 2 or 3 interactions. We have a method of getting them to spawn faster that we like to try and keep underwraps. We have some what explained in a live but not 100 percent
Wow... just, wow... it's all coming together extremely well. Great job!
🥹 thank you!
Best episode by far! Beautifully edited!! Can't wait for the next episode.
So happy to hear you are enjoying it so far 🥰
I've been watching for a couple years now and check in every once in a while to see if any updates. When you posted episode 5 I remember saying in the comments that it couldn't get any better than that, but I've never been so wrong. This was truly a gem of cinematographic entertainment, and I will stand tall saying 5:07 is perhaps the best footage you've ever shot and I just have to know if the position of that deer was a coincidence or did you station it there? Because it's simply too perfect. The beginning where it shows Arthurs day in the life was lovely to see. Sometime during the halfway mark of the video I said "This is crazy", in a room all by myself, which is a reaction I never thought I'd have. The episode is easily your best (once again), and intercutting between Arthurs viciousness when collecting debts and saving Jamie's life was honestly, genius. It still baffles me to this day that the Rockstar Editor was never implemented into this game, as something so beautiful and mind bogglingly stunning as RDR2 should be viewed from all angles. If the editor was in the game I'd bet you'd be able to pump out episodes fairly frequently and without some limitations the mod may have. With the episode being half an hour already, I ask how long the final cut is going to be and what left there is to film? Because I think I speak for everyone when I say that 2 years in-between episodes is a tad too much to eagerly await your next instalment. I think you should pursue photography as a career, even though RDR2 may be artificial, you still manage to create shots that I never would've thought of. You also must get a rush of dopamine and excitement every time you render a new episode. That final cut you make is always a shock once you realize you've finished, and I know the feeling when I used to make GTA movies, and the feeling is unmatchable to anything else. I love what your doing for RDR2 fans and hope you keep up this INSANE work! 😍 [EDIT] I still haven't said enough, but I've gotta' ask if when the episode is fully complete and uploaded, will all these parts be privated or deleted from your channel so people only see the full episode? It definitely won't matter, but if you're posting these to keep traction on the channel because it takes so long in-between uploads that would be understandable. But yeah, just an interesting thought I may as well have asked. [EDIT AGAIN] I can't help myself, but I just thought I'd add the fact that locations scouting in this game to find the perfect position of the sun for lighting, or the right tree in a certain portion of the frame, must be like location scouting in real life. You reply to everyone but I just thought I'd thank you for taking the time to read my dribble. I'm studying film at school and have done so for many years. It's a true passion of mine, so I hope you enjoy me gushing over your episodes! All the best mate! 💖
Awww, partner, this is amazing! Seriously, we can't thank you enough for sticking around and watching after all this time. I will also be making edits to my comment to make sure I cover everything asked because we don't get a chance to really delve deep into things. So when asked about it, we love to share the details. The deer shot: We were scouting around areas to try and find the best spot. We were gonna use the area over by six point cabins but use the wooded area that was never really shown. We had to think about where arthur would go, and it couldn't be too far from camp since it's all in a few hours technically with hunting, traveling, drinking and gambling. We settled on the hill next to the tree with the dream catchers, spawned in a deer and used the animations the deer can go through for grazing. The thing is, it would do it once and stop. If the button was pressed again, there was a hard start to the animation. So coincidentally, we were able to get this on the first try with one angle where arthur could shoot. The antlers lined up perfect within the sun and I was shocked 😂 we have a shot of arthur smiling that didn't make the cut because we wanted to keep focus on the sun and the deer. The interflow of Jamie and Downes: We knew from the beginning this was going to be a challenging episode because we didn't want to tell it in a linear way. As you can see these are different days. Which it should all make sense once the episode is completed. It's shocking how there are moments within missions that can be split up and told in a semi different way. Rockstar editor: We would still love for this to happen. We would still use Jotrius's Camera. It would just be nice to be able to record the world for seconds at a time. It would make it easier. But, as you see, we can make due and the game does flow nicely with editing. Like its insane how much we can keep continuity. So what's left?: We still have to get a couple more interactions finished. We need to get Grimshaw to tell Arthur about the note, along with doing Strauss interrupting Arthur reading. Some casual shots leading into Mary. For Downes, just have to redo his cutscene, and get arthur back to Strauss. Then we do everyone's favorite mission. LEEEENNNNYYY!!! Now we know the ride to Valentine will be easy, so no worries on getting that done quickly. The tricky part will be doing the first person part. Before there was a camera update, it wouldn't let me take the camera out of first person mode. And I don't know if it will let me yet with the new update. If not, gonna find a "work around" with editing. We gotta make this fun! The rush of seeing something complete: This is real. When I see it all come together, it makes me want to go faster. But when I do go faster, the quality staggers. So we have to take our time redoing shots if it doesn't feel right. Everything is thought out. There is a certain feeling to these shots to feel cinematic. And when it all actually flows together, like the music we used with Mary getting on the train, it made me so emotional. Crying like I had just finished Arthur's story for the first time again. This game has taken control of our lives, and we are here for it! The time it takes: We understand that it takes a long time to get things done. And after this episode, everything should go a little faster and the episode will get a little shorter. We have been posting these parts just to keep traction like you said. We are about to hit a total of a million views, and if we didn't do this, we may have lost a lot of viewers. We are glad we came up with this idea, but it feels like its cheating in a way lol. We do think we should keep these parts up, only because it shows quality progress between the first part and the final episode. What's your thoughts on that? If Rockstar came to us and asked us to make this with them helping fund the show, we could turn this out so much faster. Working a job, trying to have some what of a life, and trying to record edit and replay missions 1000s of times, there just isn't enough hours in the day 😆 if we can do it full time, which, very very possible if we gain more traction, then we can get this thing really going. One day tho! We appreciate you all so so much. With out you, we wouldn't know if we are doing things right. We said we wouldn't let yall down, and we hope we still haven't and won't 🥰
@@TheRedDeadRedemption2Show I seriously envy your passion and commitment to this many year long project, and I ain't going nowhere until I see it complete. It's crazy how much time and dedication it takes for 30 simple seconds, like Arthur hunting the deer. I forgot to ask this, but how's the season 1 remake going? I remember you showed the first 9 or so minutes of it on stream a LONG time ago, but I haven't heard any info about it since. I only ask because it was really impressive and I would hate for it to be abandoned.
@oneAndyHicks we will for sure be going back to the remake of season 1 after this episode. We will do 1 episode, then 1 episode of season 2. We will do that until season 1 is done. We believe that if we can make that first episode perfect, it can keep people interested. We actually have to redo the full 9 minutes since we upgraded our machine. Which should not take long because all the camera placements are saved, so all we have to do is throw them back into the mod and re-record. We also already have an artist that made a something that sounds extremely similar to unshaken. More on that later though. For the longest time, it seemed like doing the chase was never going to end. The amount of times we had to listen to arthyr and hmjamie saying those same lines over and over to get every angle shown, and to make sure the horses were the same. It just felt like I was working on 2 minutes worth of episode for months. But it was really only a full month for 2 minutes of that chase. We tried so many different way to show it. Edit: also just the whole deer and hunting with traveling took around a month to do as well. Had to find the lines for arthur to say something in the jail. Had to find the camera placements. Had to make sure we did the poker thing in one go because npcs are never the same. There's like 5 different poker versions 😅
@@TheRedDeadRedemption2Show I wouldn't take 1 month of making that horse chase, it's just too much work for me, but the way you did it does look splendid. I can't wait for the season 1 remake, it'll make for a good replacement of the first episodes when you used the in-game cinematic camera, which in turn created some... interesting shots to say the least. But the wait to see the polished remake will 100% be worth it. I just can't believe nobody else is doing things like this. I've seen some of the videos you advertise for other creators on your community posts. That video where someone created the first mission in the game immediately comes to mind, it was so well done and had a weirdly ominous tone. There may be people making individual missions but nothing to the lengths that you do, trying to recreate the whole show. Even for GTAV nobody is making anything of real quality, even less so for RDR2 with the lack of the Rockstar Editor. It makes your work really stand out! 😍 Also, a ROUGH estimate on how long you think it'll be until this episode is finally complete?
Believe me, we know no one has the patience to replay a mission 100 times. Let alone 1000. 😂 you can think my ADHD for that. With the remake about to be worked on this next coming year, it is going to look amazing in 4k60fps 😄 We actually still use the Cinematic Camera in game once in a while to see if there is any cool shots it can do. The only shot that resemble the in game Cinematic shot is the one where arthur and jamie are about to go around a curve, and the camera raises up showing the oil factory. We just had to recreate it with the camera mod and we think it came put pretty well. As for the time frame of when this episode is completed, we are hoping by the end of January at the latest. Alot of the stuff we have left can go a little faster. The hardest parts of the episode is completed, so that's very very good. We believe the hardest think will be getting grimshaw to tell Arthur about the letter around the same spots if we have multiple cameras
love your channel. Keep doing the best work.
Only the best!

This was awesome! It was really worth the wait! The way it went between Arthur and Jamie and Arthur and Mr Downes was amazing. it really showed how Arthur can be so caring but so ruthless. Also the difference between a peaceful weather and a thunderstorm was amazing. It really fit well! I am really looking forward to new content! Keep doing your amazing work guys! 🔥🙏
@thunder_78 thank you so so much! We really tried to make those transitions work as best as possible. We may be able to tweak it a little more to have the audio flow better so it doesn't feel so jarring. It did give us chills going from that scarecrow shot to just blackness, then back to calm leading up to a sad moment. Deep down, Arthur cares a lot for the people in his life. He just doesn't show it as often. Here with Mary, we are so glad they let it show he was tearing up when she said that to him. Episode is coming closer to being complete! this series is excellent, you're having to make a lot of tough directorial choices but i really love the way you captured the death of that guard at 12:40, shows that the Van Der Linde gang can really be killers, hardened against the horror of killing a man with hopes and dreams like that while he's doing his job. just a great choice to give you that interesting change in perspective, great work.
@jor3122 Hey, thank you so much! It has been a crazy journey. We have delved deep into all these missions. Gotta make sure we capture everything we can.
