I hate tunneling, and im a killer main. I wish the game will stop being so damn competitive, and I change i suggest is that they add a ranked mode, so you can goof and play around in normal mode and tryhard in ranked

Something very important for beginners, killer interactions such as stunning wraith or getting rid of artist crow were removed in previous updates.

I still don't get why they remove the light burn mechanic I mean for Wraith yah understandable but removing it for the nurse??? come on you can barely counter her powers to begin with they could have at least kept it for her

THis is an old video they already removed the ability to self heal in circle of healing, they removed base kit BT, decisive strike is still useless, Killers still tunnel 1 person the whole match even at 5 or 4 gens There is no fix for this because lets face it, Behavior cares more about killer players since killers are what sales and not so much survivors. Who cares about some rando survivor character when you can add Michael, Freddy, Nemesis, Demogorgan, Pyramid head, Sadako, Dracula, Xenomorph, Vecna, Ghost face, Leatherface, and now announced Five Nights at Freddy's?

How about instead of it takes longer for an injured Survivor to break out of a traps, traps will take off one Health state no matter what state the Survivor is in. This way traps have a bit more power to them and survivors have to be way more cautious about finding them on the map

If I’m being honest, sometimes tunneling is unintentional…. For starters I could be playing a match and I hook a survivor later the survivor escapes and he’s the first survivor I see then obviously I’m going to chase them. Also you might tunnel someone because they are running a toxic build so your anger gets the best of you and you give them no breathing room. Imo tunneling (if it’s unintentional) isn’t that bad….. but if your that one annoying huntress who will spam there op anti loop on you if you go to a pallet then it’s a problem

I like the idea but still, what can you master and how this will afect good survivors? we still need a skill to master whit the character to make him fun

A nice buff for makeshift wrap to store the trap you walk through on your leg with no stun, this way he can use traps in loops and chokepoints without cutting himself off AND collecting resources for more set ups. I find it fits lorewise too as he endures hooks from the entity, he should be able to endure a beartrap on his legs too

I am tired of the flashlight, every time I play as killer the minute I see a flashlight I leave. I hope it gets band. Bro I feel like the survivors when I see one of them with the flashlight, because it’s me running away from them. People online use that thing to bully killers.

I would say make it so that you don’t hear a lullaby, you can’t see him or hear him. Make it so that his m1 while awake , puts you asleep after a short period of time. And you can’t wake yourself up as outside the dream world you look like you are downed (asleep). While in the dream world you can move around freely (think of it like Spirits phasing). Freddy can only put two survivors asleep at a time. While in the dream world you can interact with what is the generator but will not make actual progress on the real gen. In order to wake up you need to find the other survivors to interact with them for them to get a notification that you are asleep (or they find you laying down snoring) and wake you up with smelling salts (think tapes like onryo) or when Freddy downs you ( when downed he sees your sleeping location that is now actually bleed out and can decide to teleport to you and pick you up or find a new prey to put asleep. The counter play is another item you want to obtain and use that forces you to stay awake but only makes it take longer and more and more frequently you begin to hallucinate, what would be Freddy’s terror radius when during this time would be his lullaby (until you forget to take it and fall asleep). You can only hold either smelling salt or the shot of drugs to keep you awake longer, not both. Freddy’s powers would be dream attacks like huge claws , rigged pallets or vault locations or closets. (Think of the Litch killer spells that you rotate to and have separate cooldowns for). If players don’t wake you up or Freddy fails to down you in the dream world , a “bleed out” duration bar that ticks down (so long as you are not being chased) much faster than a normal bleed out timer. When that timer ends you come out of the sleep on your own. I would add that while in the dream world, you’ll hear his lullaby as he gets closer to you.

I think making the survivor be able to work in a fake gen to gain nothing and waste a lot of time doing it, is better than just a free hit

I don't really blame killers for tunneling, dead by daylight is a competitive game for some if a start within the ingame mechanics helps you win then just continue using it, not everybody is a casual player and people have to accept it

4:38 you fuckers dont go against good survivors its not easy to tunnel, ds is not a "dead" perk a killer can lose an entire game on just one ds hit all it does and all its meant to do is to waste the killers time for the others to push gens , and killer tunnel because gens go wayyyyyyyy to fast on an efficient team have an action de-buff for swf's its obvious they break the game , nerfing killers/ killer perks to protect the baby survivors only HURTS the game because it wll create more "un-fun sweaty killers" KEEP THIS MIND KILLERS WONT TUNNEL IF GENS WERE NOT SO QUICK .... thanks for coming to my TED talk

You have to think equal. What do you expect the killer to do when they lose 3 gens in 4 minutes? No one is playing to lose.

Here we are a year later. I've been consistently tunneled out at 4-5 gens all day. If I run well (say my team gets 3 gens done)--I'm tunneled. If I do okay (one gen done)--I'm tunneled. If I'm down at 5 gens--I'm tunneled when I get pulled. As a solo q player, there is nothing I can do. If I run well I'm punished, if I'm okay I'm punished. Most of the time when I get pulled (full heal is slow w/o items or perks), I am getting tunneled before I get healed. I have died in so many back-to-back games, I am literally at such a low mmr I'm now having to go for unhooks my teammates won't (on the odd game I'm not running for my life but am still the only one death hook). I can't do anything against it. Bringing anti-tunnel perks seems to piss some killers off and make them tunnel me more. I'm not a t-bagger, I'm not toxic. I get hit on hooks if I run well. I'm frustrated bc I want to play and have fun, but it's not fun to get pulled from a hook (healed maybe) and the killer is on me again. Some games I don't even touch gens. If it was once in a few games that would be one thing (hell, if it was 2 gens left I'd get it), but I was tunneled in the 5 games I played today before I got off (yesterday I was tunneled in a majority of matches). My other favorite thing is when I run well, am on hook in endgame, and my teammates don't come for me and just leave. It's rough out here. Bc most the time, killers don't realize they could get at least a 3k if they just applied gen pressure. They are making changes to resurgence so maybe that will help, but I just want to have some time on gens, some time in chase, some time pulling and healing other teammates. I want to be able to get chests and enjoy my time, but it's like you can't without someone getting tunneled (so you just have to gen rush or you're the one being tunneled).

came here to find out how tf flashlights are so op. just started playing again, (last time i played was when the game 1st came out) and everyone is carrying flashlights and its impossible for me to hook someone.

The game is killer sided, if you play Nurse or Blight (Maybe Spirit) . Otherwise it’s survivor sided. The problem with any buffs to survivors is that the game already feels unfair as a killer. Also the game is killer sided in low mmr, but becomes survivor sided in the high mmr. That’s because in the high mmr there is no easy targets. Try to tunnel a survivor with 3k hours. I can promise you he will go to the shaq and he will chase you for forever, if you do that.

I really like the idea but I think we should think about even more dream objects because I think just a three types as it would make game more complex and fitting Freddy’s character. How about dream lockers? They would allow you to teleport to them with projection ability and if survivors would try to hide in it, the dream locker would lock them down giving Freddy notification (but not letting him teleport to it when survivor is inside) and forcing survivors to make series of wiggle-like skill checks in order to set free.

I love that it took nightmare like a year to get Nerf, but it only took skull merchant like two weeksXD

For the 3 second animation when he grabs his traps from far away I think trapper places his hand through a black mist and he fighting the entity for his trap. Be a could little lore reference and not make trapper Thor

i literally need a tutorial of how to actually blind the killer. cant find one. i dont need strategies. no matter how much i try, i cannot manage to successfully blind the killer. i understand how it is explained, yet i cannot actually pull it off. idk what i’m doing wrong. i just dont bother with them anymore.

its fucking useless. i shine it right into the killers face and absolutely nothing ever happens. yet when i’m the killer they can instantly blind me from behind from 80 feet away.

Additional Idea: -Dream Objects should also contain fake items that reveal the aura of a survivor that holds them, and have no effect on the trial other than looking like the real deal.

I wish he had voice lines in the movie he's always cussing everybody out that would add a lot and there's so many skin ideas and I don't know why he doesn't have Chase music Nightmare on Elm Street soundtracks are amazing
