It's going to be a great game

It’s full 3D. The camera placements and movements choices don’t make it 2.5D. It’s the character’s degrees of freedom that matter. Not the range of freedom. Also I fail to see how this is supposed to “change the indie game space”. This studio has **dozens** of programmers and **dozens** of graphics, animation and design people !! No analysis, no argument, just empty buzz words amounting to having a clickbait title . 👎

Before even watching the video I would not play the game without PvP that factor alone made this game feel dangerous and exciting at the same time

17:49 Goated developers. People are becoming more tech aware by the day. The player base running their own servers is slowly becoming the norm. Adding the fact that there are many server hosting companies out there that are cheap enough to rent for a month or two.

Love the STYLE of the pixel art.. it's one thing to be pixel art... but when you can use that style to really create something artistically GORGEOUS it is better than hyper realism any day, imo.

Looks fantastic, but they must use a bigger font, it's nearly unreadable on a TV when you don't sit right in front of it.

I love pixel art, but I don't love the sidescrolling limitations thereof. I wish someone could bridge the gap even more. I know games like Chrono Trigger kind of do that, as well as like, y'know, every game of that genre, including Secret of Mana, Summon Knight: Swordcraft Story, _et cetera._ Maybe that's the way to go.

I immediately started thinking about that other game I saw a few years ago with a similar aesthetic that looked so cool and wished I could remember the name...then you showed it lol perfect. Disappointing that Last Night has been through so much development turmoil but hope these both see a release some day. They look fantastic.

A line is 1D, not 2D. So this is 1,5D, not 2,5D.

There's just something so charming and atmospheric about using old school pixel graphics in a modern game.

This has been on my wishlist for so long I thought it was abandoned. Actually uplifting to hear the game has been in development and it looks like it will be something to look forward to.

both these games i think would be very cool if there was a vr version of them, but rather than just being inside the game, you should be inside a fictional living room, sat on a couch, playing the video game on a "2.5D TV" that looks like a big screen tv, only the virtual world extends inside the TV. like a diorama box.

I was looking forward to The Last Night and to think that this game had ALL of its problems because of a controversy CREATED by WOKE ACTIVISTS makes me even angrier about this movement. Thank goodness it's being buried, but this was one of the losses due to this sick agenda.

We need a classification for good games, not just for expensive games. Like the score ranks from action or beat'em-up games. I wanna see SSS games.
