The discussion about the differences between the Gall and Saborians has given me this theory: The whole lore behind Lost Skies is that the world mysteriously shattered into floating islands and is now threatened by strange creatures, right? Although it may seem like the Saborian sense of superiority would pin them as the ones responsible for the world breaking down, but I'm thinking it's the Gall. With the Gall technology focusing on function over form, they may actually have created far more advanced devices that go beyond the capabilities of Sabor. Maybe the two societies broke out in a war against each other and the Gall's superweapon is responsible for the shattered lands we'll see in Lost Skies.
