Thank you for sharing! I resonated a lot with your story. I'm from Vietnam and I spent 2.5 years in Australia, around the same age range as you did in Canada (grades 1, 2 and 3 for me). Looking back it's crazy to think how much those 2.5 years have shaped the trajectory of my life and the way I think cuz in the big picture, 2.5 years isn't really that long of a time but to a 7 year-old, it's already 1/3 of their life. I spent some time in Laos after and returned to Vietnam for middle school and that transition back was rOuGh :)) Learnt a lot, grew a lot and wouldn't have had it any other way. Please keep up the great storytelling and editing! Your diction is also incredible btw.
