  • In this video, I will be sharing my experiences and insights from my Singapore exchange program at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). During my time there, I was able to gain a better understanding of the culture and people of Singapore, as well as learn about the educational system at NTU. Specifically, I was impressed by the diverse student body and the innovative teaching methods used by the professors. Overall, my time at NTU was a life-changing experience that helped me to grow both personally and academically, and I hope that by sharing my story, others will be inspired to pursue their own international exchange opportunities.

Ah, I know the feeling. BUT, say you could time travel and go back there now. Granted, you would have a good time, but it would not be the same as you remembered. But just think of all the new things, experiences and people your life holds for you in your future. New adventures here you come 😎

My experience was from the opposite perspective. Had a Korean roommate during my first sem in NTU, but my ego was too big to accommodate him. Had minor opinion differences plus I focused too much in my studies which resulted in me not cherishing the experience to try to know him better and be a hospitable roomie. Was even unhappy when his Korean GF stayed over when visiting on a short trip and I had to bunk in with my other uni friends. In hindsight many years later, I still felt regretful that I did not give him the most welcoming experience in SG.😕
