This is because of the minute amount of gas.
Do you know what components have each tube of the cartridge?? And which is the function of the Plunger?
The kits cartridges help purify samples using paramagnetic particles, which provide a mobile solid phase to optimize sample capture, washing and purification of nucleic acid. Maxwell Instruments are magnetic particle-handling instruments that efficiently bind nucleic acids to the paramagnetic particle in the first well of a prefilled cartridge. The samples are processed through a series of washes before nucleic acids are eluted.

Can you explain what protocols you used for RNA extraction?
Various protocols including Maxwell, column, with and without DNase.
TRIzol Reagent has given me the best results. The only modification made from the manufacturer's protocol is that instead of doing 2 washes with 75% EToH, I do 3 washes.

Yes, the RNA following elution goes through quality testing including Nanodrop and Bioanalyzer and I only use RNA if it satisfies all these. Hope that hlps. Thanks.
@@innovative_learner Thank you for your answer. Do you blank the nanodrop with the nuclease free water from the kit? If so what is the 260/230 ration like? There must be a certain amount of carry over from the last well the plunger is in, into the elution tube with H20 in it. I wondered if this might be deliberate to create a buffered solution in the elution tube.

The default password for the Administrator profile is "password<last four digits of instrument serial number>"

I have some projects that do not have dates yet, so the chart creates dates as far back as the year 1900, which shows the project as tiny blips. I had to fix that by selecting the dat axis at the bottom, right-click "Format axis", go to the "Format axis" tab (looks like a graph - the right-most one after "Fill & line", "Effects", and "Size and Properties"), expand "Axis Options", and in the "Bounds" --> "Minimum" value I put a recent date - "1/1/2023". Then it showed up fine. This was great! Thanks so much!
