it looks great for pan tweaks to framing but how is it on tilt? does it just flop around a bit or has limited movement ? or do you more have to do tilts with the control handle?

For using it with the original feet that spread out, just put an elastic band around the feet to keep them from spreading out when you insert it into the round socket, and you'll be golden.

My biggest gripe is that the motor that came with the mattebox instantly shuts off whenever activated while powered on through a USB-C cable. I can only power it via the battery, which blocks the filter tray.

This is a great demo of balancing the Tilta Float! I've been trying the mods and I'm stuck with the Manfrotto Mod. I've been trying to get those little screws off and they feel locked in tight and I'm concerned about breaking something. Did you have any trouble getting them off? Thank you!

can i use the old tilta foculs handle (for the nano 1)with the new motors from tilta nano 2?

Hello there are some items that are missing from your list, mainly the top and bottom left and left right adjustment parts used. Maybe I missed them on your list. Thank you for the great tips.

I just bought one and I've gotta be honest, it's nothing like my Cartoni. That head is aweful as far as tilt goes and does not properly support it's claimed weight in that regard. I can get buttery smooth tilt and pans with my cartoni and the nitrotech couldn't be further away from that. Even my old Benro does better than the nitrotech. The legs are nice though, I'll give manfrotto that. That said, I'm returning mine.

What's that extension you have on the back to get the support pad up between your shoulder blades?

i have an issue with the roll axis. left right balance is perfect, but it shakes to left and right as soon as I move. so when I adjust the battery and make the pole more weight up, then it starts to flip when I move. would be nice if some one can explain to us, how to balance the roll axis. maybe there are some tricks to avoid it by changing the deadband? even in your video, you can see how the pole shakes when it get pushed. when I walk with the float, it looks almost perfect but the shakes from left to right make the footage look unusable

Could you please quickly tell me how you attached the manfrotto baseplate to the Tilta dual handle? how many holes are there at the bottom of the dual handle to attach the plate to ? 1 or 2 ? Just curious since I can't find any images of the underside of the tilta dual handle.

I wonder would this problem be fixed now with the new Nano ii that is out this summer 23.
