Is cartrophen the same as synovan? My vet just suggested that after we get him past his current flair up we should look at ongoing treatment and suggested synovan but I can't seem to find anything about it and when I google it this came up

does it matter, e.g. leaking if the nappies gape at the bottom as they do in your video?

This video was so helpful! I do have question, as I’m going to finally buy a nice clipper set. I currently use some like $40 Wahl set and I typically cut my doodles with a 3 guard on their bodies. Do you not use guards with these? What clipper number would that equate to? Thank you!

What happens if they need to poop?

Please don't compare Furminator original with Furminator knock-offs!!! I had a knock off and after a few minutes I saw the hurt skin under my dog's coat. I threw it in the bin and have been deshedding him with a furminator for the past 10 years (American Akita). The original Furminator besides that it works MUCH BETTER than the knock-off, when there's no more dead hair to be taken out, the Furminator will just be empty, it will grab no more hair. The knock-off furminator style would keep on taking out hair until there was just skin left.

I guess you are not aware that once the bottle is opened, the medication is only good for 3 months. That's a problem dog owners face a huge loss, as after 3 months, the bottle must be thrown in the trash as it becomes expired. Also the bottle must be kept under 25 Celsius.

Great video, very helpful! As a "home" groomer, I'm unlikely to get the really expensive clippers you use. More likely to use an Amazon set with many comb attachments. I don't really understand the difference between different size blades, versus different length combs?

Others might say this process looks hard pr stressful but I think it seems fun and satisfying! Sure theres a lot of bending over and its time consuming but i aspire to be able to trim my own in the future. Im deciding to research things like how grooming would look now, as well as puppy training to get them used to the process. Im excited to watch the ear, paw pads, and nails videos you have next!

Just got a Wahl KM10 and it's complete garbage. It pulls more than it cuts. Waste of time and money

If you use a larger diameter Dremel sanding drum you will have more control. Also, use the course grit at a relatively high speed. I have years of experience on multiple pets and I don't even own clippers anymore.

NONE of the male wraps have worked for our male dogs in the past. They all bunch up & the dogs can't stand them & just cry or lay in bed from hating them.

The most valuable takeaway I have gained about grooming my retriever is to pay a professional to groom my retriever, great tutorial ;)

Hi, thanks for the great video. I bought a Wahl KM10 Clipper and now looking to buy the attachment combs. I"m confused because I see a set of combs but it says works with a 30blade. Does that mean it won't work with my 10 that comes with the clipper? Also, I heard there are wide combs. I don't see anything mentioned in the kits about being wide. Thanks
