Hi there thanks for watching. This tool is probably better n shirt double coated dogs. It really depends on how long your dogs cost is. What breed is he/she?
@@FurryFriendsZone She is a registered 13 yr old Cairn Terrier. Thus double coated, but Her outer coat is not typical of rough coated Cairn Terriers. It is more silky and long since she is not a show dog. I currently use one of the slicker brushes with the push button for cleaning off the hairs. It works similar to the one you reviewed.

Just wondering how this would work on dogs with longer hair. And how is it any different from a slicker brush?
