AI voice. Downvote.
Medieval peasent was all feudal or working for feudalism ?
Where were slaves treated better Islamic world or European world And which had more Islamic world or European world
This sounds like disjointed AI rambling. Is it?
None of these random pictures match what you're saying....
I had a friend who lived in a house with wood and mud walls . They had problems with rats, so he stopped up one night the rat appeared he shot at it with a garden gun ( a small shot gun ) and blew a hole in the wsll
I hate these AI voiced videos.
Very well done. Very informative.
Modern human forgot that this is not just history fairy tale, this is real stuff, i can't imagine what they're going through and what they dealing with vs us modern human having existential crisis complaining about broken charger 😂
Gee climate change has been going on for a long time
Read much too fast and without regard to punctuation stops (periods) and pauses (commas or semi-colons). Machine-narrated? Several Renaissance-era images are included, but this era is considered Early Modern, not Medieval, neither are the styles in them.
Tons of great information but the visuals didn’t match up so it was not as helpful as it could have been. The closed captions are full of mispellings and incorrect words, such as “cloves” for “clothes”, which makes it difficult to know if the uncommon new terms are correct at all.
Winter of 1962 to 1963 was was one to remember.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The comment: peasants plugged holes in their houses with paper. 13:26. No, they did not! They would have use a mixture of mud and straw. Paper was not common in a peasant home. Most did not own books-that they could not have read-and ‘paper’ was not common-unless you were wealthy, and not the kind of ‘paper’ we know today. So, it was vellum, animal hides, linen ‘paper’ until about the mid 1400’s. Please correct this glaring error. Thanks! And ditch the AI voice.
The same as we did in the 1960’s and the 1970’s.
I despise mechanical narration.
The AI has some way to go before it does not become disruptive.
This is so complete bullshit. I really don't understand why there is so much misinformation about the middle ages. It's the same thing with the belief in witchcraft and witch burning which only become a relevant phenomenon after the Malleus Maleficarum(1486) was published after the middle ages ended. This misinformation has to stop...
A.I.......ugh
The bad computer synthesized voice is annoying and distracting.
I wish we could send all the Climate Alarmists back to the start of the little ice age so we can enjoy the warm weather without having to listen to them whine about doom and gloom.
Stop that dreadful background music
temperatures are not warm or cold, as prices are not expensive or cheap, just high or low compared to generally accepted averages.
TERRIBLE AI!
great content dude, don't let them haters stop you from posting
Interesting To Note, merci.
The dark ages then the middle ages medieval to Renaissance modern times from ancient and medieval times
I grew up in a two story house and the beds rooms upstairs were not heated so we had plenty of flannel sheets and quilts on our beds. Downstairs was heated by wood stove. We spend all summer getting wood cut and hauled in for winter We would get up and get dressed down stairs next to the heat
Thumbs down for the AI voice
Could you imagine what it must have been like being in metal armor out in the freezing cold and snow
I'm not listening to a fuckin robot
The usage of lots and lots of firewood to keep the hearth burning 24/7 was how they survived the winter. A great deal of time during summer was spent harvesting and collecting this firewood, yet many succumbed to the cold. There is a reason why people back in those days counted their age by ''winters'', they would say for instance, ''I am 18 winters'', it is because they counted their age by how many winters they had managed to live through.
They also burned dry cattle manure.
Interesting content, well researched and illustrated with largely good, accurate information but spoilt by the dreadful, inhuman cadence of the AI voiceover. Either get a better one or try using a human, native English-speaker.
The title has the usual United Nations propaganda on climate change and the graph shows reconstructed temperatures with the hockey stick to keep the narrative alive.Meanwhile Manhattan is not 7 feet under water and the climate hustler Al Gore is still doing fine without any questions raised about his inconvenient truths.
They had it good. When I were a lad in't 1960/70's we had to sleep 4 to a bed, just to stay warm enough to make it to morning. No central heating as the miners were always on strike and we lived with constant power cuts, so it was often cold and dark. The best nights were when one of more of the dogs decided to share the bed with us, as they were much warmer than by brothers.
Yep it was great being a baby boomer.
@@genevievedolan1288 Gen X, but close.
The AI voices get really annoying. Get a real person to narrate.
Yes I came here to see if it was just me.
I grew up in the 1980s and 1990s with no heating in my Bedroom. Hurricane Milton? My mother would have made me walk to school in that.
@@jessicapayne8622 🤣❤️❤️. Mine too!
The script was very redundant, repeating the same information time and time again.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze/Copper coins alike were introduced since the ancient times. Most notably were the Gold Solidus which was used by the ancient romans in late antiquity. The solidus currency continued into the Byzantine empire until it was supplanted by the Hyperprion during the reign of Alexios I Komnenos where the Byzantines fully transitioned into the medieval ages. Prior to the replacement, the solidus which weighed 4.5 grams had around 24 karats. Although during the Komnenian era, the coin that replaced the solidus which was the Hyperpron became debased and at its height, only had around 20 karats although throughout the years, it became more and more debased until the Byzantines completely abandoned the Hyperpron and instead used foreign currencies.
What was de dieingrate at that time...?
People had access to clean water in medieval europe stop spreading misinformation.
I love winter 🤍
Very interesting video, also interesting to read the comments.
They absolutely did not use plate armor in the 800s 💀
That's scale armor
Would be much better with a real narrator rather than an AI voice. Just saying.
why did they change the title from global warming to climate change? Think about it.
Climate change then
Actually, the starving months were in early spring when all of the stored food ran out and nothing could be planted yet and new sprouts of perennials hadn’t emerged yet.
@@loriace9841 smack in between running out of food, and waiting for the next opportunity for food. That had to be the worst time didn't it 😕👍
@@patrickrose1221 there is a very brave woman who escaped from N Korea who called that, “The Dying Time”. Hard to believe it’s going on right now.
