I EDC this firearm and it hasnt ever let me down. Compared to my Glocks for EDC, i would only choose a Glock if i absolutely needed button mag release and the tactile sensation when firing/reset. other than that it beats my glock17 and 19 on grouping. as far as EDC holster id go for a VersaCarry Comfort Flex holster hard shell wrapped in that nice dad leather wallet with a padding on the IWB side. also has cutout for Optic. for Tac holster id just get any thigh holster or slim holster with a sturdy clip for the vest, and is also the most accessible for your use case, comfort really comes 2nd for TAC options.. i try and stay away from shell holsters due to wear on the $1k+ firearm as well as the audible noise it makes when you holster/unholster, bad bad bad. so the VersaCarry comfort is prob my most recommended for EDC, dont cheap out on the non-comfort model, its not worth the compromise. YMMV but at least you have some wisdom to go with knowledge!

The HK Assaulter was a 12 inch barreled rifle. I made a SCAR 17 Assaulter model myself with an extra SCAR barrel cut by Dwilson Manufacturing. Love my SCAR Assaulter and have had no issues shooting 147 grain projectiles out to 200 yards at my gun club.

The 8 inch Bren is so fucking retarded. Why the hell you would want a rifle that NO AMMO on the market reliably fragments out of. Highest velocity with a suppressor you'll get out of that is STILL under 2700 fps which is the minimum you need for reliable fragmentation. Literally who did they create the 8 inch for? 1/7 twist out of an 8 inch barrel? Id get more spin on the round if I shot it out of a silly straw. The gun is retard bait for guys who will never pull it out for anything other than larping at a flat range.
