Love these tips but why the hell is toneden subscription over $50 a month🤦🏻‍♂️ I can’t use the pre-save unlock without a subscription

Sometimes I'm so afraid to hear those next "no's" over and over again, that it completely blocks me mentally and my next actions. Really trying to overcome this and stop that awful feeling of guilt after sending e-mails and messages to people. It's really irrational and after 14 years in this business I should have learned it, but it still slows down my career and doesn't let me grow to my fullest potential. Time to stop caring too much and start pushing again. I guess my thinking was often kinda like "oh they're gonna remember they said no to me, and I can't hear too many "no" replies from those few important people because I'm gonna be forever associated with being not good enough with what I send or offer. Like a particular label rejects me 5 times in a row, why would they even open the 6th message from me. LOL

Why does it have 500 views though, it's really valuable content you put out on this channel

But does it work just with link in bio? How do you drive people to this SoundCloud social unlock? Call to action in the video or description "check my bio"? Or an Instagram bot and asking people to comment a particular word to get a private message? Do people really care that much to go to your bio link on their own? It's additional effort and clicks while they could just keep scrolling some other fun stuff even if they liked your video?

I really like the approach with the soundcloud link as a reward for saving the song, very clever. However, I wish you would have pointed out the downsides of content marketing, like that you can´t plan for success. And saying in the end that Meta ads with a budget of 500$ can´t compete is in my eyes not correct. I constantly hit RR & DW with a budget like this. Both approaches have its pro´s and con´s, but saying to straight out neglect one is kinda black and white thinking. Of course if you don't have any money to spend on ads, then only do content marketing, but like I said, you cant plan for success with content marketing.

I'm already testing somewhat on social media, but I've noticed that when you don't have a lot of followers etc. on social media, the content itself generally doesn't reach big numbers. My question to you is: when you did your 6x12, was it all posted on channels that already had a bigger following?

I’m so lost on how to grow on IG. I have tracks on there that world renown DJs play and I can’t get past around 100 followers and it’s almost always the same 3 friends that like my posts

Great stuff! Question- I feel if I did this I still would have no audience to even see the 12 videos. For example any content I put up on IG gets the same likes from like 3 friends and even the tracks and links to dj mixes. My 100 or so IG followers I’ve gained organically through them coming up to me at events asking what track is this or what mashup is this or can I hear your dj mixes, very eager to follow me so I know can confirm the content is good as I’m posting what they are asking me for. It just feels literally impossible to grow on IG without paying for ads. I feel if I tried your method that I’d have my same 3 friends liking the posts and get no real insight with that lack of an engaging audience. Not a diss to your method, just an observation with the no engaging audience on my IG

Whenever I try to make an account with toneden it says my email is already in use. I'm 110% sure I never made an account with them. To be sure I tried signing up with all 4 email addresses I use currently. Even the obscure ones I never use for anything music related and it told me every email was already in use..

Unfortunately either Tiktok, Instagram, or RUclips won't give you enough reach to reach audiences no matter how killer is your video unless you pay Ads.
