Will come back here again after I hit my first 1M streams on Spotify using your strategy my bro. Love from India 🇮🇳 you earned my respect! God bless you with a lot more success ✨
Bro, this is some great content. I’m excited to try it out. I haven’t used Toneden that way yet, I’m curious to switch it up and use it in a way that works. Brilliant.
Great video man! I am trying various methods of music promotion at the same time and your approach seems solid. I'm going to be following your advice! I'm already testing somewhat on social media, but I've noticed that when you don't have a lot of followers etc. on social media, the content itself generally doesn't reach big numbers. My question to you is: when you did your 6x12, was it all posted on channels that already had a bigger following?
Love the content!!! I was skeptical at first but this was solid advice! I’m curious how do you test which part of the song you use? Do you just pick your favorite? or do you test each part?
Wait so how does this work, Lets say promote my music for the 2 weeks before the official release right, people presave it then I have to pitch to release radar a week before releasing...so that would mean I would pitch and continue making videos until the day its out correct? does that mean the presaves/follows I got before pitching are useless? please help
ideally you'll have the song uploaded for distribution and then delivered to DSP's 4-6 weeks before release. Once it's been delivered, pitch to Release Radar (so pitch it 4-6 weeks before release). THEN run the 2-week promo "testing period" 2 weeks out from the release date. Let me know if that makes sense
This is an interesting strategy and worth to try, but one truth has to be told: if your song is "bad", this strategy leads to nothing. But this is a common rule for any marketing (music/spotify) strategy
I really like the approach with the soundcloud link as a reward for saving the song, very clever. However, I wish you would have pointed out the downsides of content marketing, like that you can´t plan for success. And saying in the end that Meta ads with a budget of 500$ can´t compete is in my eyes not correct. I constantly hit RR & DW with a budget like this. Both approaches have its pro´s and con´s, but saying to straight out neglect one is kinda black and white thinking. Of course if you don't have any money to spend on ads, then only do content marketing, but like I said, you cant plan for success with content marketing.
Wow. Getting MUSIC recognised by getting the right video concept, social unlocks, saving unreleased songs, etc etc? And I was thinking music is about the music... maybe back in the 60s where musicians...you know what, nevermind...
In the 60s you had to do wayyyy more to even get a song to public, today it costs $20 a year on Distrokid, try hundreds of thousands $$ to get records pressed and distributed in the 60s
I think you missed my point. It seems to me it's not about the music anymore. More about viral video content. But you do you. It's fine. Congratulations on your streams.
@@zeppelinstudiossingapore well entertainment has grown. Back then theatres didn't have music now we have music in everything even regular videos. So music is competing with different branches of entertainment. In other words adapt or be left behind. People will always listen to music just because they don't listen to yours doesn't mean they don't care. Social media has simply provided lots of dopamine and decreased attention spans. If you don't want to advertise online you can do public performances. And viral content is if you want to make fast progress and money otherwise consistency is just fine to get you by.
This is the most consist explanation of artist / Brand identity then awareness…….. if u aren’t a ad Devops you don’t know how to setup the advance ads and who ever u paying going to scam u!!! It’s all about the song being on repeat marketing manipulation us humans are rather slow lol😂
But does it work just with link in bio? How do you drive people to this SoundCloud social unlock? Call to action in the video or description "check my bio"? Or an Instagram bot and asking people to comment a particular word to get a private message? Do people really care that much to go to your bio link on their own? It's additional effort and clicks while they could just keep scrolling some other fun stuff even if they liked your video?
Hey congrats on those big resluts! Have you done this kind of results in 2023 or this year? Tik Tok as a platform was much more viral in 2021 so that’s why I was wondering. Cheers
I don’t make music as an artist anymore ! I’m now full time content strategy & marketing for other artists & labels. Right now Instagram is the gold mine for growth on social media, these things always change though
acutally i got it it works on feature fm its called action link, but would it help to do follow artist on Spotify to unlock or has to be save the unreleased song
Unfortunately either Tiktok, Instagram, or RUclips won't give you enough reach to reach audiences no matter how killer is your video unless you pay Ads.
You are right. The algorithm is rigged otherwise paying for ads would be useless and they are running a business. They randomly push people to give hope to random people.
@@pipikakachu Ads are often designed to lead people away from the platform, while organic content encourages them to stay on TikTok. Social media platforms prefer users to remain on their site to serve them more ads, so they prioritize content that keeps people engaged.

this is great, but when I create mine, it then gives me options for paid ads instead and an option to "continue to next step"?

Can I do this with Feature fm? Or is it not possible, I might just have to switch to Tone Den then?
Feature.fm has social unlocks too, I've used both and personally like the layout of ToneDen's better but they're both fire
