ONE LURE, 5 SPECIES: JACK, JEW, FLATHEAD, BREAM & MULLET??

Fishing using the 2" Double Paddle Tail grub soft plastic. This one little lure caught 5 different species, only small fish but a jack, jew, bream, flathead and even a mullet lol. A magic winters morning to be out fishing in the kayak till the wind came up late morning. It was a slow bite on the larger plastics so downsized to this small grub did the trick. Yeah it's a good spot at the start of the season. Once the water warms through summer can get thick with freshwater weeds/lillypads etc. making it tough to fish. I was pretty happy to get a 46cm first flick of the season though, thanks for watching Johnathon.

lol, yeah the hooks were actually really good quality but need to be a bit bigger. A stinger hook behind would work well in water that wasn't weedy, I got frustrated cleaning it every cast. Can't complain though I guess, $3 for 3 lures lol.

nice greenback bro, know that spot well only under our current swell is it worth the risk there ...but there are some monster mulloway at that ledge...have been thinking about giving it a run for some longtail if your ever keen to join. another gr8 vid showcasing our backyard :)

Cheers mate, yeah its a sketchy spot to fish, low tide and no swell is the only time I will fish it. Im keen for the longtail once they start showing up in numbers.

@@LoveYakkenit’s me again. Pretty sure I know where this is but definitely keep it a secret if your catching that big of a tailor. Do you think a spinner will still be good as the water is getting colder. Or change because the tailor like warmer water.

Spinners will work fine right through winter for tailor, it's what I mainly use, I don't use hard bodys much in the surf but might now after this session. Cheers.

@@anthonykhalil70 Thanks Anthony, yes there is a bit that goes into it, but I enjoy the filming, editing and playing with the drone as much as the fishing. Cheers for your comment.
