@@LoveYakkenit’s been a top year with one of my best coming from the middle of last June! It’ll be interesting to see if they are still around when it cools down this time
Haha I'm there almost everytime i go out for a fish, but I only get out once a week for afew hours lately. With all the rain id say it seems to have slowed, but I very rarely go home without atleast 1 catch :) My father pulled a 56cm Jack from a snag there just before all the rain. Im yet to get another haha
G’day love the show 👍🍻🇦🇺 I got a lovely 64cm jack around Coffs and got railed by a bigger guy one on the same stretch of creek I don’t have the luxury of a boat so it’s weaving in and out of snags lol keep it coming I’ll keep watching 🇦🇺👍🍻 happy Australia Day 👍🇦🇺👍🍻
Cheers mate, yeah there has been some good jacks around this season, I didn't find them this session though, lol. Back at you with the happy Aussie Day.
@@LoveYakken Bonvill creek from the railway bridge up past the pontoon north side 👍 5 days ago I got blown away by some nice old fish one spot there is a sunken log in the middle of the river that harbors both jacks and some overgrown bream that chew lures to don’t laugh I often only use gitter bugs
Thanks Warren, I mainly use my Daiwa Generation Black Wicked Weasel 2-6kg rod, and reel I use the Shimano Ultegra 4000xg. Definitely didn't need this set up for these small jacks lol, but when a big red hit and runs for the snags you need it.
@@warrensimpson9541 The only thing I don't like about the gen black is the micro guides, early morning or late Arvo when low light it can be hard to feed your braid through the guides as they are so small, but your eyes might not be as old as mine🤓
Never caught ma Jack 🥲 tried so much whilst traveling in Aus. - maybe one day again. Subbed from here in jersey uk
Thanks for the sub👍 Jack's can be a frustrating species to target but good fun when it all comes together. Just starting to watch some of your vids.
the jack addiction is real !!!! kool vid and some nice looking country
Yeah the addiction is definitely real, in winter I get the shakes from withdrawal and am hanging out for summer 🤣
