Why on Earth do you want to turn that steering wheel when the car is stationary? That's very bad driving habit. I never heard that noise because I never do what you just did. The only situation when you might have to turn the steering wheel while the car is almost stationary is getting in/out of a very tight parking spot. If it's hilly, then sure, auto-hold will help there.

Get it fixed. The video is correct about what's causing it but not that it's not an issue. There s a service bulletin about this, replacing both upper control arms fixes this.
