I honestly don't know what number problem I'm up to... I started noticing that my seat wasn't warming anymore when the temperature started to drop here in the Northeast. I had to get a thermal imaging camera to confirm it.

The tesla service department is amazingly good. They are addressing the multitude of problems I have had with my Model X P100D (Delivered Sept 21 2016). So far, I have experienced several loaners over the almost 7 weeks it has been in service. The car is great fun to drive. I welcome it home after its many visits to the "Shop" to get the factory defects fixed almost like getting a new car again - This latest time is to get the really bad factory paint job fixed ( Some body panels had to be repainted by an independent body shop) - as well as the crooked factory fitment of the active spoiler which was trying to break itself every time it closed against the frame. I want to support the company and its philosophy of weaning us from Petro fuel, but, if they could just slow down a bit and get the cars built right, they might save money and customer angst - Build it right the first time, and everybody is happier.
I have same issue, do you have part number? Did you fix it by yourself?
Probably the connections snapped where the seat and back meet. This was a common problem on heated seats years ago. Most manufacturers figured out how to fix it. I guess Tesla missed that seminar.
Is it possible to use any from ebay?
Houston! You don't have a lemon, you have a TESLA! I've had my Model X for 4 months. Feels like I'm driving a car that's not even in Beta yet. My driver seat heater won't turn off. Started getting warm in Atlanta and I sure noticed it quick!

Is there a setting that allows you to adjust where the most heat goes to? In a Mercedes, you can set whether you want it more on the back and less on the bottom and vice versa or only on the back and not the bottom or vice versa.
