International flights have always been pretty good with AC. Domestic not so much, and I would always prefer Westjet.

We travelled on Scenic+ TranzAlpine 6 months ago we got fantastic service , went on the Bernina Express 2 months ago and got reasonable service but as good as the TrazAlpine, in fact we bought the return trip a week later and cancelled our rental car, that's how great it was. We are now planning a return trip to New Zealand to ride the comparable train from Auckland to Wellington.

Went on it a couple of years ago. Wasn't really impressed. Overpriced and overrated.

Hopefull the new XPTs will have will have quite a difference between between 1st Class & Economy. Dont reckon more leg room & more recline is a reason to call it 1st Class. Everything is the same as Economy. Except for those 2 differences.

This is scenic carriage, not sure why they gave you this carriage, I travelled on same for scenic.

However some people like to pay for poor service, that‘s their choices

First, Welcome to Hong Kong! Secondly, as a Hong Kong resident I agree your comment about HONG KONG EXPRESS. Next time if you flying from Hong Kong again I recommend you to try another budget Airline in Hong Kong and it names call Greater-Bay airlines. Which are the new airline in Hong Kong.Most of the people were surprised of their service as a budget airline

A lot of passengers sneak in their food.

Your flight departs at 9:55am but they have another flight for Osaka departs at 8:55am. So the final call is for the 8:55am flight.

The snacks policy reminds me of the worst of HK. At times it's just plain officious and rude. Other times though it's amazing :)

Funny enough I was considering that very flight next month as I didn't want to pay for an overnight in Taipei, I think following this review I'm glad I passed on that and sucked it up for a night at the airport and a direct flight the following day!

We flew with them last week from KL to Kuching on Borneo. A shorter flight. Larger leg room, I'm 6 ft too. Food ok-ish. Late departure but early arrival. We're flying with them again in January to Penang. The service seemed generally good. I much prefer the Vietjet airline with their dancing crew!

Traveled with them years .not the slightest problem

without Air Asia i dont think i will start travel abroad on my early years, Flight are expensive for 21 years old just graduating from college , start Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Japan now i use Air Asia for flight below 3 hours, and using Singapore Airlines for a longer journey(Japan, Europe)

I can fly on Air Asia only for flights that are 2 hours max. Any longer than that, i won't feel comfortable

We flew on three flights with them in 2017: KL to Kuching, Kuching to Kota Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu to KL. First two flights were great, third was terrible. Huge delays which meant booking an earlier flight to be able to catch our connecting flight back to the UK. Then that flight was delayed and ended up leaving at the time our original flight was due to depart. On the plus side, the staff were all friendly.

We fly them often. For the price it's fine. Those seats are, let's say, not built for westerners.

We have done the drive through Arthur's pass, very scenic, but as a driver, i couldn't fully appreciate the scenery. We will try the rail trip next time. The train from Dunedin to Middlemarch through the Tieri gorge is a must!

Choose another airline when flying do not choose Air Canada bad food bad service small planes cramped high prices just bad service all the way over

We from Christchurch used to like the old railway station with the thick cups and saucers with the RNZ logo on them, and they served good strong pots of tea and the best beef mince pies with mashed potatoes and gravy and peas.......I used to like the overnight journey to Dunedin when the train wasn't too full and we could stretch out on our seats and sleep.

great video. How would you rate the food quality and customer service. Did you check in a bag. Were they strict with the checked and carry on baggage weight. by the way, how much was your villa in Bali
