I have lots of family in BC, both in the Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island. It's a truly beautiful part of the world. My brother likens flying Pacific Coastal to being in a van that's been slingshotted into the air. I flew them on the same aircraft type as you last year from Penticton to Vancouver and his description wasn't far off. I got some spectacular views of the Coastal Range mountains though. Staff pleasant in the way only Canadians can be.
Another great video. It’s been years since I’ve been on a Beechcraft. Continental used to base them in Cleveland, so it’s that long ago. I don’t recall that sport winglet. As there was no flight attendant on board, the cockpit door was opened for landing, which could be pretty dramatic, particularly at night when it was windy.
Pacific Coastal Airlines are a great company. Flew to Trail from Victoria/Vancouver several times. They didn’t have the 1900D then but the 1900C which is more streamlined and less headroom. Once seated though it was a comfortable ride. Also been on their Saab340 which carries more pax and is larger too. My most memorable flight was when they had the Shorts-360! That plane had more headroom than a Greyhound bus! They also used to have several Grumman Goose but I dont think they have them anymore as well as the Shorts-360s I would love nothing more than to joy ride every route they have! They have also teamed up with WestJetEncore and fly the Saabs under the WestJet livery and connect to more regional airports in the Prairies!💕
Thanks for such a helpful comment! Yes, I wasn't able to see any current reference to the Grumman either. I'll keep an eye out for their teaming with WestJet Encore as I may have some flights in that area coming up.

Hi Derek, I agree it's such a beautiful place. There's something calming about that area - but not so much calming bout the flight!
put together great, very enjoyable
Thank you, Peter - I appreciate that.

Thanks, Hugh - I enjoyed taking this flight. There was a bit of turbulence on this one, but nothing too dramatic, thankfully!
Lovely gentle video Patrick, thank you 🤗🤗
Thank you lovely Clare 🥰

I believe they still have the Grummans, which they operate out of YZT as Wilderness Seaplanes.
WZK used to fly for wasaya airways Ontario based out of Thunder Bay end of 2017
Thanks for sharing that info!
Great video man keep the good work up
Thanks mate
thanks for the video
No worries
I personally like smaller aircraft like this Beech 1900 D.
It makes flying feel much more real somehow!
