The amount of times i have flown Jetstar, i've had very minimal problems with them. i have flown them over 20 times. They are my go to airline domestically. in fact, i have had more issues with Virgin Australia than i have had with Jetstar. If i have had issues with them (which i have, only a few times) they have been all out of their control.
Welcome to my home state! Jetstar is not an airline I would risk for the reasons you stated. I think part of what the pilot said was 1 hr and (5?) minutes…not sure of the rest. Glad the flight worked for you. Enjoy!
The pilot said more (that I edited out) but I couldn’t make it out! This is one of 4 Australian flight reviews and I’ll be doing a comparison video at the end. Keep an eye out for that one!
i did a jetstar western australia to bali. a 777. its just homebrand qantas...feels like the same company. that 777 flight was like flying in a tiny kids babyseat they drag up to tables to lock toddlers in. locked into one sitting position with zero room to do anything but form the shape of a tetris fighting over the finger width arm rest. that plane was a human torture device and i will never fly with them again because of it. an older fleet is better on that sort of trip, its short couple of hours, a virgin older plane will be 10 times more comfy. p.s. i live next to the airport at the start of this.
Thanks for sharing your experience. And a beautiful place to live, too! Yes, as I get along I’d rather spend the extra couple of dollars to fly (hopefully not too many more!) in slightly more comfort. I just flew that Bali route with Jetstar last week in the window seat and it took me a day or two to get over it 😝
Australian's hate JetStar because they are total garbage. You never know if they will turn up on the day and after you pay for ad on's it is almost the same cost as a premium airline. Qantas are also a 3 star airline. When I think of Qantas, I think of Ryan air. JetStar is a last resort for air travel. Like I said, they may not turn up on the day.
@@PlanetPatrick Yes. That is my unbiased, objective and dispassionate view . This is a reason why Qantas (their parent company) won Australia's 2022 (or 23) Choice Magazine's Shonky Award. It is a real thing in Australia and was all over the news for their ghost flight scandal which they got out by the regulator.
It sounds fine on a laptop and iPad at this end - obviously nobody wants audio issues and I take a lot of time trying to get the mix right - what device are you using so I can test on that too?
Thanks, Patrick, no problems with the sound here in Yorkshire
Great to know, thanks Noel
Great to know!

That’s good to hear - and a counterbalance to a lot of the negative comments we hear about Jetstar

Jetstar doesn't fly the 777
Jetstar
Jetstar made fun of the Vietnamese currency
I didn’t realise that…

Well there’s a clear statement if I’ve ever read one!

Need to fix your audio or at least amplify it to the same level as your b roll music... it's unwatchable
