Black Diamond Boulder Capsule 20L Pack - How much can it fit?
This is a very very niche pack but I could not find a single review on it so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in again and you know what you could probably use this as a gym pack or an EDC why not
Besides being a bouldering pack mainly, I found more use for it organising sport climbing gear, warm up accessories etc etc
It is such a shame it does not come with stowaway shoulder straps because then this pack would have genuinely been the bees knees
If you're wondering where are the ropes and harnesses...
In a ideal situation, the person I'm hiking/climbing with will also be carrying the other stuff as well haha because shared burden is less burden am I right
PS:
Sorry for the weirdly overexposed ...

Skip ahead to 2:00 to see the solo stove in full action. Correction: The pathfinder nesting cup at 0:38 is actually 700ml not 800ml apologies it was a typo. I really like this pot. Relatively lightweight making it easy to bring on my adventures with friends when I'm the designated cook. Hope this video helps you decide if this pot is the one for you or not. I was really surprised by how fast it...

Caribee Combat 32L - How much can it hold?
Просмотров 7 тыс.4 года назад
Decided to give it field test, ‘hiking’ and ‘camping’ in my grandmas backyard haha... Caribee combat review ends at 3:25 minute, after that I’m just trying out the trangia alcohol stove 🍝 Watch on 1.5x speed Managed to get 7.88kg in this bag but since no hip belt (big flaw with this pack)… GG lower back 🥲 (I have a weak core ok) Unless you are pretty strong then you should be pretty good. It’s ...
This would actually make for a pretty good overnight carry bag. Might try replacing my TAMA snare bag with this.
Can’t use it for overnight hiking but you’re suggestion is a really good idea lowkey, I can pack my towel, toothbrush, clothes and my Jian zi, I still think the TAMA snare bag is more functional
That seems veey time consuming... theres gotta be a better way
90% agree, it could have more compartments and pockets, 10% disagree because I got in on sale and couldn’t return so I’m forcing it to work for me 😂
This was super helpful, thank you <3
🗣️Action 🎬
I love how you show all the dimensions - including straps and the pockets! Thank you so much!
Glad you found it helpful !!
Skateboard sound at 20:52 🤌
Hahahahahaha
Excellent and detailed review!
Hey are you still using this? Has it been keeping up?
Yep still using it but mainly for cooking big dehydrated meals with friends on a mini stove, it is still in one peace so good thing I guess ! I am eyeing the sea to summit aluminium foldable bowl now because the places I go just do not allow open fires
Wow that actually fit quite a lot. Can we get a review of the drum bag??
Omg those reeks of beautifully crafted videography peppered throughout authentic funny dialogue. Much love 🤩🤩
8:21 that’s awkward 😢
Kept it in there for that very purpose
Wow what a sennichimae filled trip and that was some srs lettuce flower 🥬🌸 juices flowing 6:58 - 8:15 (pls do a review of your filming gear 🙏). Taiwan vlog next?? Also - that jidan was massive...I did feel quite sumimasen for you watching it again.
Look the whole trip felt like one massive sumimasen 😂 With a lot of sennichimaes so will definitely return Thanks for your comment I will look at doing a gear review in the future
14:25 my fav part so funny xoxoxo This whole thing is lit I enjoyed watching it I hope to see more of your travels and injuries.
Fantastic review. How do others find it when used around the waist? Thank you
Very helpful video, I'm looking to get this for my girlfriend as a gift, she's approximately your height and body type, so seeing it on a woman was unbelievably helpful!
Meth?
Great review ❣️❣️ TY
Agreed about the bug net in Australia!! Northern hemisphere bushcrafters sleep in the open yet they are not dealing with the excessive insects and reptiles Australia has. Woke up with a 15cm centipede crawling on me last night in my tent ⛺️
I have a video on how to make the fire disks on my channel, its a short easy video, i have a set up i moded just like this set tho its not the pathfinder set, dave really did an excellent job for the price great quality gear. The bag looks excellent.
the curved part on the striker is for wood shavelings
PS Great video... I have just ordered one..
If you open the inside pocket you can tuck the smaller pocket/flap into it keeping it open so it can divide the bag
Awesome tip, not gonna lie that tip made me use this bag more
It's a nice little "day pack bag." But if you're going to camp overnight or longer, you'll either need a bigger bag, or.. figure out a way to molly on some extra bags on the little one there. Because as much survival / camp gear that you have in the little bag, you don't seem to have any room for clothes. I have a suggestion for a pillow. - Use a small "stuff sack" and stuff it with your softer clean clothes, or a puffy coat at night. The next morning your clothes will be warmish when you go to put them on. And stuff sacks are easy to stuff in nooks and crannies of gear bags, and don't weigh anything really.
The only thing I don't like about the water bottle is the plastic lid. Which means you can put it in a fire to boil water, but you have to make sure the fire doesn't melt the lid. But that's really my only gripe. Why they didn't make the lid metal, is beyond me.
Hey! Could be carry on?
What color is that?
Frost blue :)
I just received the 32 oz bottle and cup and was looking on ebay for the stove stand the only ones im seeing are the 64 oz ones are the the same thing like in size as the 32 oz?
Excellent review!
This edge is for fire starting. In theory it was designed to help pre-srape, but in fact its the mose efficient point for normal sparking.
Thanks. Iv been looking at this bag but wasnt quite sure everything I need would fit. You've definatley helped.
Ive had this bag since 2017 great bag but i feel like its a bit bulky for its size i might be very wrong about that though
It nice to see how everything fits so neatly in there. But honestly, it would be hard to get things out without removing the things on top.
100% agree with you, I wouldn’t bring half of the things in the video lol, this was just a video to show the full capacity of the bag
Funny how you put so much stuff in 🤣 Really great review!!
Definitely need to bring my dental floss sewing kit hahaha
It is great to see you doing these videos again. Your earlier ones helped me decide what back pack to buy.
Really helpful video, for decision making while buying
Is there other colors
There are heaps of colours it’s not even funny
A gardening bag too ?😂

Found this on (deep) sale in Germany so snapped it up. You’re not kidding about the weight though! 😂 Still, it has a great feature set. And the quality (which contributes all that weight!) is more than apparent. This video was what convinced me to buy. Thanks for posting!
I didn't know it had a whistle :D
Great review thanks. I am considering getting this pack.
Replace that pot with the GSI Soloist (if you buy the Solo Stove Lite) or the GSI Dualist (if you keep using your current Solo Stove Titan), but buy the grey Teflon coated version instead of the stainless steel pot. I cannot STAND stainless steel as everything burns to it at the slightest bit of heat unless you douse your food in cooking oil, whereas the grey coloured GSI Soloist and Dualist pots are completely non-stick, and the Dualist will fit your Solo Stove Titan inside it... Subscribed to your channel, fellow Aussie...
Thank you for the sizing recommendation, but if you want to use the pot with the solostove using wood then the heat gets so extreme that it will destroy the non-stick coating which will emit toxic fumes as it burns off/melts.
@@mygg15 The non-stick coating is only on the inside of the pot, and so long as you have water-based foods and sauces in the pot, the inner pot surface will never exceed 100°C. The science behind this is why you can boil water in a ziplock bag over an open flame and the bag never melts - The water contained within it prevents the temperature ever exceeding the boiling temperature of water... Obviously, you wouldn't put a non-stick GSI Soloist or Dualist over a flame with nothing inside the pot...
@@Funkteon yes, I do understand that principle. But people usually put oil in hot pans and then the onion/garlic, because they ate used to do that at home. And when heated over fire that gets too hot very quickly, especially with such a thin metal bottom. Even my moms non-stick pancake pan smells burnt teflon when she heats that over a gas oven flame at home. From gsi dualist product page on gsioutdoors homepage: ”CAUTION: Never heat nFORM Ultralight cookware to extreme temperatures or allow it to boil dry. Pot and Strainer lid intended for stovetop use only. Not for use with microwave ovens, conventional ovens or open campfires. Pinnacle cookware is expressly approved for camp stove use. Not approved for in-home use. Handle may become hot when cooking. Always use caution when gripping handle. Never expose handle to direct flame. Do not attempt to separate mug and bowl while full.”
@@mygg15 Firstly, we're talking about pots here, not pans, as such, it's unlikely that GSI Soloist and Dualist users are going to be using oil in the pots, instead, they would be using water-based sauces etc. Additionally, notice how the GSI instructions specifically use the term "open campfires" when warning against improper heat sources. The girl in this video is using a wood gasifier stove that heats cooking vessels in a similar way to an isobutane stove turned up to medium or high. I, myself, have used my GSI Soloist over a wood gasifier stove and it worked flawlessly as the flames aren't so crazy as to lick up the sides of the pot and damage the plastic lid. However, yes, you are correct in pointing out that the stainless steel Pinnacle range from GSI is the only type that you would place on an open campfire as it is made entirely of stainless steel, including the lid.
still have your pack
The excessive flames from your Trangia are caused by what's called 'thermal runaway' - The methylated spirits got too hot and the gas was combusting at too high a rate, causing the flames to violently lick around the sides of your cup... To avoid this, give your Trangia a bit more space to breathe air - However, I do recognise that this is not possible with your current Pathfinder setup...
Hi thanks for the great video! I’m thinking about buying the backpack but I’m wondering if you can open it from the bottom ? Thanks in advance
Yep! I have one you can access main compartment from bottom zipper compartment
ノースフェイスのリュックマジでいいですよね。
Good review. You might want to have a table or somewhere to open it all up and show inside. Also just rerecord the parts that are affected by external noise and edit them out.
Thanks for the tips!
