Gorgeous views! So glad they were so accommodating. 😊 The last trip I went on the ticket agent _said_ the dock was wheelchair accessible, but it was the steepest dang slope I had seen in ages. No way I could get myself down nor back up, and since I was told it was accessible, I had gone on my own. Luckily some other people on the tour jumped in to offer help and I was able to still make it to the boat to go whale watching, but I was still upset about being lied to. It wasn't very safe.

I had a fantastic Deaf ASL teacher who had students voluntarily go through one day wearing earplugs to simulate hearing loss. It was an impactful experience that gave us insight into things like just how rude it was to speak instead of signing in her class. I think similar things can be a helpful lesson in empathy, especially for kids and teens, but what that creator is doing just feels performative and....well....icky.
