Physical withdrawal from CNS depressant drugs like opioids are seriously underestimated in the severity and the trauma they cause. I remember reading how opiate withdrawal was akin to a "bad case of the flu" and I must admit if I am going to be honest that I thought that I could get through that alright. I didn't realise just what a monster that kind of addiction really is.. eventually ending up spending several years stuck taking a state sponsored daily dose of the sweet green syrup.. That turned up being a very difficult thing to do, probably one of if not the most difficult things I have ever experienced in my entire life! more than physical pain and more than mental pain, in fact it is hard to put into words just how awful it felt.. I suppose it could be described as a form of torture, of personal hell even. Iboga seemed to reverse some of or most of the damage from the years of abuse, and even the issues that preceeded this.. I remember a few days after the iboga ceremony thinking how clear my mind felt.. how at peace.. That actually took a lot of getting used to after the years of having so much chaos inside as out.. I tried kratom a few times, but it didn't seem to do much of anything for me.. though I always seemed to have an inbuilt high tolerance to even real opiates, so it might work for others better than it did for me.. Whatever works for you just go with that and keep going.. it takes time to get to the stage of a full fledged physical addiction, so don't expect a cure to happen overnight.. just try do better each day, or at the very least try not to do worse than the day before.. If you can do even that, then you are on the right path! reduce your use then spend the extra time and energy doing real world stuff to fill the growing void that would otherwise leave.. The hardest thing is getting started. Once you get going and start to regain control over your use and your life the only way is up! megadosing vitamin C, and taking enough whole food vitamins and minerals.. good diet, exercise, lots of clean water.. Kratom is said to really help many people with the withdrawals from opioids.. and for many, microdosing can really help with iboga, as a flood is too extreme for many who want to have a more gradual journey into sobriety.. then to relax some THC, CBD can help with the restlessness, and also to potentiate the iboga or kratom.. Your doctor can help with drugs like clonidine for nausea and restlessness, or buscopan to help with the cramps and sickness in stomach

They uses to use tramadol because supposedly it was far less addictive and not strong when compared to opiates. Sometimes so wiseass er doc would send me home with tramadol for my "back pain" instead of percs or stronger. It did nothing for me unless I mixed with a benzo or darvocette. I've been free of all drugs for 8.5 years now and it's much better sober.

I’m going to be sarcastic here. I know able bodied people who take the subway to get from one place to another. If they can walk, why do they need a subway to get from 20th Street to 120th Street? If they can walk, shouldn’t they walk everywhere. And instead of flying from New York to California shouldn’t they just walk?

And in a couple years, after my drop foot dropped? we walked the same lol!! She’s passed, and I realized I was misdiagnosed. I can’t walk again… and I want to get as far away from the medical bullshit as possible, so it’s time for me to taper off this stuff. I’m so grateful for you… wish we were neighbors…thank you. Truly. Kris this video scared the life out of me....ive been in these tablets for 5 years and started at 8 x50mg tablets... For the last few months ive been a mess and need to get off these things. I think i am in withdrawal every day but obviously not full because i still give my body plenty of tablets but i refuse to go past 10 to 11 tablets a day..... On the rare time i do go past that number i have a fantastic day but just having the 10 tabs makes for a missrable day... When i wake up in the morning i am absolutely awful, i can barly move, eyes bouncing all over the place, talking is an effort.... I do beleive i am in a constant withdrawal to some degreee but only a very amall percentage of withdrawal.... I am absolutely dreading the full withdrawal when i finally decide enough is enough. The easy option is to take more but i have kids and i dont want them without there dad. Anyways well done and thanks for the helpful videos.

I stopped cold turkey 1 of March 2019 after over 15 years on tramadol, kodein and oxy. If i had known what i know now i wouldnt have done it i think. For 5 months i was in the worst nightmare of my life i got no help from the healthcare so i struggled on my own i also didnt drink alcohol or took anything else during this period to try to ease. I became more and more sick by the month and after 5 months i was suicidal then i finally found a place where i could get help with starting on buprenorphin or subotex i think is the name in uk and usa im from sweden. They then told me how the tramadol had effected my brain and that it destroys the centra that regulates stress. Today im tapering out the buprenorpin and im looking forward to finally being free.

Feel really lucky I guess I was prescribed it for pain relief for periodontal work which it worked wonders and helped out a lot in addition this opioid still allowed me to use the restroom 💩👍 which anybody who uses opioids knows it can stop up the works☹️! My experience with Tramadol was brief I used two 50 mg tabs a day for as long as necessary for my oral pain due to periodontal work done I luckily enough used it for that alone and when the pain subsided for me it was easy to stop use I by no means am saying it’s not addictive as when the Tram kicked in I could see how one could get used to that warm blanket feeling but fortunate enough to say enough when the pain was gone and I no longer needed pharmaceutical relief I wish the best to those of you struggling with this drug and hope you overcome your battle with this drug!

I suppose that I'm lucky. I've been taking tramadol for 10+ years, 100-150mg/day. I don't always take the same amount. General work, 2 pills a day. Yard work, 3 pills a day. Playing golf, 4 pills a day. I supplement the pills with an occasional Tylenol or Motrin for swelling. The US Army prescribed vitamin "M" for everything, and I found that it really doesn't do much more than kill your kidneys and liver. Tramadol has worked for me, and I do not plan on stopping it. I am sorry for all of you who've had bad experiences with this drug. I've had 13 surgeries since 2008 and I've been prescribed everything from oxy to Percocet to hydrocodone. My experience has been that after three or four days of the opiates, I switch back to Tramadol. This includes both back fusion and shoulder surgery that I've had since November 2022. Once again, I'm sorry to hear these terrible tales; I am happy you got through them. Take care.

I've Been through something very similar only recently and every word you say is correct .The only difference for me I was lucky that I had researched tramadol and found it was very dangerous. I suffered chronic pain .I restricted myself to as little as possible like one tablet a day even though I was in pain . It was just about manageable. Even at that dose the withdrawal was really bad . As you said you completely lose yourself in a nightmare of the craziest stuff . Your video should be shared all over to show people the dangers.. It's so important people know what awaits them if they want to discontinue this drug . Again thank you I'm glad you're back in good health . I’m currently on a 5 day cold turkey tramadol detox. I recently got a seizure earlier this week due to tramadol. I was taking 21 100mg pills everyday and Monday June 24, 2024 was the last time I took a pill. It’s been a crazy detox week but I’ve been feeling a lot better as each day goes by. The worse thing has been the major insomnia the past couple nights but I’m still battling. I’m 25 years old and I know this is just part of my story to speak about with others who are going through this at a young age or in general.

@@St0n3ofNBM my withdrawals were chills, headaches, cold sweats, diarrhea, and I would have body aches too but the key is to keep yourself hydrated and keep yourself busy and have a supporting cast with you that will help you. I was off for a week from work and during that week my wife was a big help, she would make sure I had all my nutrients and vitamins to keep my body okay. We treated it like I just had a really bad cold. Once a week went by and I went back to work I started to feel better cause my mind was on work instead of my body and tramadol. My withdrawals only lasted for about 4-5 days. Once I went over to week 2 week 3 my body was doing okay except for sleeping. I had really bad insomnia and it irritated me so bad. I remember crying one night because my body was so tired but my brain wasn’t letting me sleep. What helped me with that was epsom salt baths. I would do one before bed everyday to get my body relaxed and I would take melatonin to help me. After about a couple of days I begin to sleep a couple of hours at least. You just have to keep going and have the mentality that everything is gonna get better you just have to get past the tough stages. After about 3 weeks I had like these zaps in my head that was like weird but again as time went on those went away. Stay strong man wing yourself off suboxone as well challenge your body to gain its health back.

I'm reading all these comments of people who managed to come out the other side of opioid WD and mention how they finally feel human again after so long, how freeing it is to not depend on ingesting a chemical into your body everyday or else the consequences are dire. I want to do the same but goddamnit the pain of WD is just so goddamn scary and so intense, if I were able to at least sleep through some of it I would consider but youre just stuck with the pain 24/7 for 2 weeks straight which doesn't sound like a long time but when youre in it, every single tick, every second that goes by feels like an hour. I just wanna feel normal again, it isnt fun constantly swinging between feeling alright, then feeling like im on the edge of wellness and sickness, then being scared if I dont have any money or any boy to hold me....honestly i was going to perma ban myself from this server if it werent for the opioids and how good they felt, now its gotten to the point where the opioids are the reason I wanna ban myself again.

Tramadol can absolutely be just as addictive as any other opioid. It has a reputation of being mild, but that's not the case for many people. It's one of those drugs that has a much stronger effect in some people than others, I believe because it's a "prodrug" meaning your body has to break it down into its active form, and some people have more of the enzyme(s) required to do so than others. It's my understanding this is why the effects can vary so much from person to person. For me, it was quite effective and yes induced full blown unbearable withdrawals. I used to take like 12-15 50mg tabs a day

Kratom is now legal in Thailand. Its affects are extremely mild and won't do much for hardcore tramadol addiction. For me it can make my tongue go a bit numb but hardly has any calming affect. I use it in tea form just in case it is helping that few percent but i wouldnt worry too much about using it for tramadol withdrawal. One of the best things is to jump and wiggle about and just go out for a walk around the block at fast pace. The adrenalin or whatever exercise chemicals helps.

Exercising to keep my pain in check and its better than with tramadol! Natural euphoria! No longer need to wake up feelin bad. Or taking meds everywhere. First week is pure hell cant sleep so depressed, in pain and exhausted. From 2nd week it get better and after 1month can start pretty normal living. Insomania is the worst and depression from ssrn withdrawl effect. The pain Will ease just live healthy and rewire your brain. Sex is better the willy get alot more sensitive. The drug is no longer controlling me! I have a back/hip and knee problems, but im sporting everyday cardio and muscles. You can do it too!

A pram or perAMBULATOR is a device or wheeled vehicle used when children are tired or have difficulty walking, a wheelchair is used for the same thing by adults. What's so difficult for people to understand. ffs? When I wasn't disabled I was an ambulatory car user. I would nip to the local shops when I could have walked there but did so because it was quicker & easier to use a wheeled vehicle, take note able-bodied people. I use 2 sticks these days and struggle to walk 10 metres with them, so I use a mobility scooter to manage my lower limb disability. These people really need to get a life or preferably a brain capable of rational thought & problem solving. Sorry I'm 4 years late to the party but nice one Kris.

I took 30mg a day, for 3 years, and stopped cold turkey. Tylenol works great for me now. I'm a recovering Opioid addict. Legally and medically prescribed to me for a work injury/surgery. Fentanol, Opioid, benzos and soma...for 6 years I was gone from my family. I only take Tylenol now. I'm grateful to be alive 🙏
