    Do I need a die grinder? I’m a student, went to trade school and got my welding/ assembly certification, now I’m doing a 6 month pipe welding course. I noticed that we use die grinders with flap disc grinding wheels on them to clean up the inside of the pipe where we weld the root. Not so much on Stick welding but more so when Tig welding. I’m looking at the Milwaukee m18 die grinders. Do it need that ? It’s the only power tool we use other than grinders

    Where are you finding SA200s for 2500? Does it just depend on the region? I don’t know where to look but everything I see is crazy expensive even for older machines

    • @Mr.Crosbyy.

      In my opinion…. A lot of guys have these 15-18k welding machines… and most of us run 200’s. Yeah you’ll work on your 200 a lot… but once your 17k machine breaks down? You have to leave work and get it repaired and tear the thing apart… but a 200??? Kick it a couple times and get back to weldin. I’ve seen a buddy pour Gatorade in the radiator when the coolant froze in -65 degrees up in Montana. 🤣🤣

    53 Series Kioti 4x4 with a bucket. Fill the tires. We’ve had ours for a little over a year and love it. Small enough to get through a 6’ gate, but big enough to get a 1,400 lb round bale of hay off the top row of a semi trailer if you don’t mind a little pucker factor.

    A guy at work walked by while I was watching this video and told me about his neighbor that started out with a beat up, multicolored Tacoma and a big diesel Miller welder and dune torch bottles on a home built trailer. He said the guy ran that setup for about a year and a half before buying a Dodge Ram and a Lincoln to build a proper welding rig. The next year, he bought a second Dodge and a second welder. The third year, two more. Now, 5 years in, and he’s running a fleet of 12+ trucks with employees on his payroll.

    I’m interested in the details on the B&W turnoverball hitch and the fifth wheel hitch mount. How’d you come up with the locations and how does it affect the amount of weight you can pull since they’re both behind the axle? Looking for that info is how I found your channel, and I’m for videos in now. I’m building a truck now and trying to avoid stretching the chassis, but I need to use the gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches still.

    I daily drove a Chevy for 28 years, daily driver! The only reason I sold it was I wanted a bigger truck. After 28 years and 1.7 million miles, it still had the factory power steering fluid in it, and the factory clutch fluid, other than changing the battery and alternator a couple times, I absolutely never had any problems with it.

  • @Borderweldingservices
    @Borderweldingservices 4 месяца назад

    Why do you want less bed, but wish you had more room to have filler rod, it makes no sense to have smaller bed. Why show more wheel on a dually for a full ton. I just don't get it. Im not trying to be rude but I saw counter intuitive

  • @Borderweldingservices
    @Borderweldingservices 4 месяца назад

    Out of curiosity, Why would you rather have less bed space and just a complete loss of it that is usable just to show you have dual tires, not trying to be rude. I'm just not the best sayer of things.
