Sorry this is a late reply. Nozzle spring defo upgrade if using stock BBU. Hammers will break - less than an hour to replace.

@@AngryBullAirsoft You were right! Changed the nozzle return spring and the Hammer assembly ( hammer,valve knicker, auto sear) with CowCow and runs my HPA tapp like a dream

If you buy it new - Yes. Balystik regulators need a specific tool, others like Redline, Polarstar or Wolverine tend to use a hex key (allen key).

Easiest way to reduce consumption is to reduce the weight of the moving parts, less weight to shift means less gas used shifting it. Lightweight bolt would be an easy swap out. I used the 5KU standard lightweight bolt and it made the pistol snappier, lighter, less recoil (not that there's a lot) and I got really good efficiency.

I tried this and it caused me some feeding issues. Maybe my oring was too wide (1mm) but it instantly caused my Article to feed 3 BB's then stop, mag out, bb's dropped out, mag in and it fed 3. Removed O-ring and it sorted itself.

Wild guess would be a bit of dirt in the mechanism, usually when a reg leaks a rebuild, new seals and grease with Gun-Sav fixes them.

For the 5KU frames, I've found they work significantly better with a CowCow disconnector.

Thanks for the comment - The AAP can be a fiddly platform and is difficult to get right. The groups and forums are usually full of people with feeding issues because of unbalanced spring setups. My honest advice would be go for a Capa. They are a slight bit more initially but are far easier to build and work on.

Context is your friend. I wasn't referring to the playing pressures. I am aware that there are some ULP setups that I have seen used in the US. Not that US airsofters use low pressure. As I am aware that my content is viewed from the US I wanted to make that caveat to acknowledge there are other high pressure systems out there. I appreciate you getting involved but you've grabbed the wrong end of the stick.

That's a Magpul K2, you have to drill it to get the line through but Wolverine do a really good video tellng you how to. Really nice fit for me as it is more vertical than stock.

UK Light License is the one we went for. The license itself goes down in one persons name but you can name a "group" on the application and then essentially you can distribute between you. There is no upper limit on people *I think*, we had around 10-12 when we did this so it worked out very cheap per person.

The only other thing I can think to advise would be to run them on narrow channels, wide seems the better option but you don't need loads of spectrum for what we do and quality won't be noticable. Narrow means you get better range for your output power and you're less likely to pick up noise as well.

Feed issues are hard to diagnose, could be the mags, could be your adapter (or rifle) nozzle speed? So many variables. Pre load them correctly though and they’re normally very strong performers.

Appreciate the feedback - it is directed as more an overview of what parts I found fitted the golden eagle, not an intention of “this is the best build”.

Not on this one. You can get WE models that are switchable and TM did the Extreme45 that had full auto. You can also get a disconnector from LACC that will make a capa go full auto.
