I like the 5KU parts. They seem to be a good product at a good price. For instance, my stainless steel slide stop and ambi thumb safety came with a nice glossy black titanium nitride coating. I have no problem with ordering parts from Hong Kong to Texas. I've gotten parts that are not available anywhere else.

Agreed. For me 5KU are the best of the cheaper parts. I’ll happily use them (and regularly do).

Great video! Where did you pick these up from? I only see them in stock on Sixmm, and don’t have any experience with them. Really exciting to see Alu grips for a good price
Thank you - I got mine from 18Airsoft but I have ordered a fair bit from 6mm in the past. Both are quite reputable. I'm happy with it so far.

Thank you 🙏 In honesty the easiest way I’ve got the 5KU frames going well is a cowcow ip1 disconnector and a smidge more pressure on the disconnector arm of the sear spring. Done!
@@AngryBullAirsofti wish it was that easy for me. Got the cct disconnector & valve blocker, AM valve knocker, 5ku sear, cct searspring, aip triggerbar and it just won't work whatever i do. I tried to find a vid on how to make it work but noone made a vid about it unfortunately. But thnx I'll try to make it work with a full AM hammerhousing parts (minus 5ku sear and the hammerhousing itself) I'll let you know if that worked too! :)
@@vDontHxteMe what problem is it actually doing? I have 2 on my bench at the moment (stock frames) doing dead trigger which is driving me mad but it’s all down to the sear spring pressure on disconnector (usually)
Also take a good look at the valve knocker and spring. I bought a edge set valve knocker spring and a am hammer with the valve knocker included. And then i had the 5ku frames working perfect. Because else i had no releases etc or it had vlave knocker probs on the mag
And i used cct disconnector set and the am set
Love the video. I got the 5ku grip and mid frame because of your videos, fells great on hands. But when I put together both 5ku frame and grip, it does not work (all the parts are from the 5ku, others will be stock). When I pull the trigger, the hammer does not move. I would need to hold on the trigger and press down hard on the hammer to spring back the hammer up. Will you know how to solve it. Much appreciated.
For the 5KU frames, I've found they work significantly better with a CowCow disconnector.
