Horse Bite Miter Clamp Adapters test w/ Titebond Quick and Thick. #carpentry #clamps #woodworking
Horse Bites™ are special miter clamp adapters that can be added to your favourite quick clamp. Using #6 screws as cleats, the Horse Bite™ changes the clamping angle and allows you to clamp your miter tight while the glue dries. Designed to be an alternative to more expensive options, Horse Bite™ adapters work with your existing quick clamp. We currently offer options for Irwin Mini, Bessey EZ, Bessey EHK and DeWalt Medium quick clamps.

In this video, I share a few secrets for completing my prefinished window casing without visible fasteners. With help from Lamello K20 biscuits and my special DIY mitre clamping jig, I assemble and install the window stool, apron and casing without using nails. This is referred to as a 0 Fasteners spec in my area. #carpentry #woodworking #windows

In 2019/2020 I was hired for a project as Finishing Foreman with @naikooncontracting. It was a high end Net Zero house with a lot of details. The centerpiece of the home was a double flight spiral staircase. Generally this work is handled by a stair specialty company, however, I was arriving on the job somewhat early as the roof structure was still not on the building and a couple months from l...

    Just curious, what is the liklihood of the middle of the stair sagging without a centre stringer? I assume it comes down to quality of the wood used, but it's getting increasingly difficult to get good materials lol. I don't build things, but like to know a little bit before the issue arises 😂

    Amazing, beautiful work! And the scroll work in the railing is also very nice, and probably just as challenging. Looking at all that extraordinary work in that entire "turret", sorry but that light at the top just isn't anywhere near the kind of fixture that should be "topping off" this incredible work!

  • @alexanderbreeding1830
    @alexanderbreeding1830 14 дней назад

    Also just truly curious in looking at what appears to be a concrete floor that just stops, hanging in mid-air, with a curve "cut out" so the spiral staircase can be installed - along with the boards standing upright in the middle to which the work platforms are attached - but to what on the other side that isn't visible?? Was this place being built by witches?

  • @alexanderbreeding1830
    @alexanderbreeding1830 14 дней назад

    Can someone please explain the detail shown on the outside of the curve at about the 20 second mark of the video that looks like a "lollipop" but gets covered up??

    Honestly not bad considering that joint will most likely never be subjected to that kind of stress in its natural life. If its getting treated that way at some point someone was trying to damage it anyway. Not too shabby.
