I work closely with Capcom studios, code Veronica will be an oculus exclusive for an entire year because mark Zuckerberg is funding like 80% of the cost. Re9 is not even close to being finished probably looking Q3 2027 release.

I think the entire Steve Romance thing in a Code Veronica remake might work nicely if done properly. I believe the original intention was to make us feel bad that Steve never had a chance with Claire before he mutated and died... He loved her, so he was able to resist killing her... The only problem was that no one liked Steve, so it made everything awkward when we see a character we dislike flirting with a character we love.

Resident Evil 5 first!!!!

Code Veronica was already remade with Resident Evil Revelations 2. Exact same scenario. RE5 was a big money maker for Capcom so you can expect it next along with RE9.

I would love to see "Steve & Claire" on-going campaign (Their the most satisfying character) Chris on the other hand; "Chris is still a playable character or a background character"

Words cannot describe how much I want this remake. I fucking love CVX. some of the best music, environments and puzzle solving in the whole series imo. I love the villains and characters as well. Everything about this game was perfect to me, and I only played it a few months ago, having been SUPER late to get into the series as a whole.

This 100% needs a remake. Honestly, if they cut a lot of the needless backtracking, I wouldn't mind. Other things, like you said, fix up the story to fit with the new remakes and fix Steve. Also, none of the risks of being soft locked for not putting the right items/weapons in the item box before switching to Chris.

They should sell Code Veronica as the true sequel of Resident Evil 2. Maybe this could attract people that thinks that it is only a spin off. Also Steve was less annoying in Code Veronica chapter of the Darkside Chronicles.

Ever since Claire found Chris's letter in the Stars office in RE2 I really wanted a version of the RE universe where all the remaining Stars members plus Claire & Leon go to the Umbrella Europe facility. There's an old comic where all the Stars members go to Europe for another horror adventure in an old European Umbrella castle. Would love to see this play out in a new game

Honestly I think CV should be remade for lore reasons, but after they skipped straight ahead to 4 REmake I'm doubtful we'll get CV next.

Step 1: lose the over excessive backtracking Step 2: updated graphics and physics Step 3: update and have more serious toned voice acting Step 4: don't make major changes to the characters for "modern day" reasons (Keep Steve a little creepy towards Claire, cause he likes her. Teenagers are just weird at showing emotion. It humanizes him. Keep the Alfred dressing as his sister, duality gender dysphoria stuff. It's part of his character. Gaming companies seem to be scared to have a tran person as a villain. Hurts the esg score, I guess.)

Resident evil zero is super underrated. It doesn’t need a remake because it’s not even necessary to play. You don’t have to play that one at all.

Is really hard to keep a franchise fresh specially if you want to maintain the consistency along the way. I would really love if they stay with the formula of RE7 because it work to give a good scare and also is more realistic to think you are a regular person in the middle of that hell you have to go through.

I can’t believe how you are so constant in your dedication. You may want to try some gameplay, you know, is awesome to see a pro doing what he knows best. Also I don’t know if you are into this but you can give it a try to fan stories. The real hardcore fans know this games very well, so you can use your channel to bring new fans to the franchise and story telling is the finest instrument any youtuber want to be great, at least that is what I believe. Re3remake wasnt just a let down because of clock tower but the amount of the city cut out. Theres alot cut out. It could have been the goat if it followed its 99 design. Capcom handed it down to m2 studios on limited time and budget. If it had been capcoms A team following the re2remake passion it could have been the best especially if it gave everything the 99 release had. Clock tower is just one of many things cut...if you want a real remake or more detail for re3remake...read s.d. perry novelization of re3. Believe me that is the best written version of re3

Code veronica problem is in its tyrant meet up. Resources. And never getting to really enjoy the arsenal you earned.its atmosphere is great though. For example the doctor scene and going down stairs to see that experiment torture basement. Whats crazy friends I have who are not into re liked cvx

I imagine re4 remake and re8 were being around the same time and it borrowed from each other but being switched up enough. Re3remake was handed down to m2 studios and didn't get the love Capcom gave re2remake. If I'm going to say what impacted me the most...the tension suspension and horror of re2remake....it felt like I really made it through the impossible...the others felt like let's just get back to shooting enemies because that's the only entertainment in this...sad thing is...if you want a real remake or more detail for re3remake...read s.d. perry novelization of re3.
