Welcome to Apex Geography! I am here to talk about different places across Canada and the United States. My goal is to connect with people who have a passion for travelling and geography or for people looking for a new place to call home.
I spend free time, looking at maps, planning trips and reading about different places in Canada and the United States. As of right now I have visited all 10 provinces in Canada as well as 1 of the 3 territories. In the United States, I have made it to 29/50 states with many more to be crossed off the list in the near future!
I love interacting with the viewers and am always looking for feedback and suggestions for new content!

Winnipeg the natives are very friendly, it's one of the most peaceful places on Earth. Super safe to raise a family. Just stay south of Portage Avenue. 😂
Thank you for the video :)
There's not enough here to keep existing residents going, let alone newcomers, look things over thoroughly before moving here, you could end up in a tent with thousands of others
Good luck finding a family doctor, impossible!
Long waiting at The Hospital to see a Doctors
Grew up in the fraser valley, moved to saskatoon in 2006. Moved back to the valley in 2017, miss sk so much my partner and I are buying a house and moving back!
Awesome territory for sure! But why did you show a picture of Moraine Lake in Banff Natl. Park?
That one must have slipped in past quality control, sorry! I had a lot of videos on the go when I put this one together, total mistake by me!
Gad! Such a hopelessly shallow bit o' rubbish.
A bit outdated! I lived in both Nfld. and Labrador in the summers.Beautiful very rustic way of life in Lab. Loved it.
Good introduction, It didn't sound negative at all. Just a few major detail left out. As usual with many bloggers. Absolutely right. Also that the true owners are the First Nations. You mentions cons. number one con artist IRVINGS They control the Government of New Brunswick. Premier of N.B. Worked for IRVINGS over 30 years. He was loyal to them then. You can bet your $$$ still. There is no shame in their game. Greed is their Creed,
I going to be visitig Gander when I retire in 5 yrs. Most likely over Spring/ Summer. Sny recommendations?
I enjoyed the video. How are the job opportunities for software engineer
Nice video!
Why is Canada so full of incompetent bureaucrats !? You see it in every side of public and private sector in Canada , the military and their procurement and dei disaster , civil planning ( Calgary green line saga and ongoing water restrictions) not to mention other disastrous planning in other major cities, what a shit show of a country and yet no accountability whatsoever .
Bro put Vancouver in nice😂 bro Vancouver is the most beautiful city in canada! Encompassed by mountains, the ocean, the greenery… there’s a reason why it’s the most expensive city in Canada
They move to Brandon for ish$ 😂
I very much enjoyed this video, but I am stunned that Regina is not included on the list! I am interested to know why it is not in the top 5. I am also interested in how you would rank places like Yorkton, Lloydminster, Moose Jaw, and Prince Albert.
The best place to live in Saskatchewan is...Alberta.
As you said, every place has it's positives and negatives. Manitoba has so much to offer. I have lived in almost every province and Canada and even several countries overseas. Where you live and how you enjoy the area is a choice each person makes. Home is a state of mind and what you make of it. I have lived in Manitoba since 1986 and I absolutely love it here! Camping is awesome and the access to outdoors is simply beautiful any time of the year. Winters are of "Wonderland" quality and even at -30c (which is rare) the air is filed with peace and amazing opportunities. Winnipeg has ample access to international travel and I have never had issues booking flights anywhere. For it's size Winnipeg offers gems like the Leaf and Forks to name only a couple. A truly worthwhile visit. And the Aboriginal artifacts and art are displayed for all to appreciate. A wonderful rich history we need to explore more of. I challenge you to think outside the box and instead say: 50+ Reasons to move to Manitoba.
Great jobs aren't one of them.
Only got worse with ndp
I moved to Antigonish at the end of 2019. Then the virus happened. Could use more restaurants. And a diverse population. Was there for four years then moved to Dartmouth. I like Dartmouth. Happy to be here.
I've lived in manitoba my whole life ! I love it here but... Let's just say no one from California comes here and stays... I'll let you come to your own conclusions as to why 😂
Sell your vehicle before you move here if it's an oddball. There are no BMW, Audi, Volvo, VW, (and more) dealerships. The closest ones are probably at least a 15 hour drive away.
Canada : 10 provinces et 3 territoires. En 2022, le territoire du Yukon du Canada dépasse la province de la Saskatchewan à devenir l’entité n ° 3 pour la criminalité au Canada. My home, my life, however! Canada's Yukon territory in 2022 by-pass the province of Saskatchewan becoming the #3 entity for crime in Canada. The is not so edible inside.
You don't know what your talking about moved from Toronto best move of my life
Your anecdote is irrelevant.

I don’t mind the weather in NS at all. I like 4 seasons. I don’t mind moisture as it keeps the place green. I wish winter was a bit cooler so that the snow stayed on the ground more consistently.
Property taxes are a sham, a lot of discrinatory laws stacked against the common folk. Rent is very high, no rent control. Selection for groceries is mostly essentials, no variety at all and prices are high. Politics is in bed with the billionaires in the province. The people are excellent and the province is very beautiful. New Brunswick should be just as wealthy as Alberta.
Sad thing is there are families with just as much wealth or less than that of the Irvings that have done more for communities with similar populations of that of NB elsewhere in Canada and the US creating more prosperity, social mobility, and economic freedom.
I've lived here most of my life. Unless you really like the outdoors year round, it sucks. Amenities are weak, salaries are the lowest in the country, and cost of living is rising fast. Weather is awful, but summers are fantastic. Even living in the biggest city, it's not great. We do have the best beaches in the country though. Without a car, you can't really live here either.
Even the outdoors of NB is nothing to write home about.
Your reasons not to live here is why we live here. Your healthcare issue are totally incorrect.
Clarify about the heathcare issue.
Speak for your self, I know many NBers that would give their right arm to live elsewhere if they could, but can’t because of unwanted family commitments or simply have a work pension in the making that’s only a decade away.
@@rps1689 I was speaking for myself, no issues with healthcare here in SJ where i am what so ever.
@@nowayyearight9757 One of the lucky ones you are.
Nothing spectacular in saskatchewan, just a small simple life.
I would consider moving here despite all the negatives if I knew it was free of the Indian invasion. From what I hear it is not, despite there being little to no jobs. I guess there is nowhere left in the country to go if you're looking to escape the cultural enrichment
Seasonal Affective Disorder prevails. Dark, just above or below freezing most of the year, and the shortest (and sweetest) Summer ever. I didn't know such kindness existed.
Glysophate
Apparently not giving enough credit to Miramichi, Bathurst and Edmunston as far as amenities go. But if that is the only 5, then I guess we are doing well. I could give you about 100 reasons not to live in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. Take it all with a grain of salt.
I could give you over a hundred reasons not to live in NB.
From fort nelson sweet place can’t wait to visit
The health care is really poor 😢
And today there be illegal documented east indians temporary university students will take that risk.
Visited many well known cities. Saskatoon is beautiful lots of culture, the arts . I absolutely love it there. Just got back after ten days visiting my family.
Did you forget about the poison that they spray in NB called Glyposate that is killing people , poisoning animals destroying our land and our water and fish ❓
keep in mind there are only so many unskilled low paying jobs also the rents are very high like 2 thousand a month there really is only one large imployer in new brunswick medical care is not the best also you can not get a doctor because there is none and there is so much wrong people are living in tents and makeshift shelters all over the city so think twice but do your homework before coming here
I think m
So minitoba is not good place to live?
I can think of many more reasons to move out of this dump of a province.. Visit, don't move here..
