Berapa harganya alat- alat rotor whasplate and rotor gearbox, kreatif keten sir!! Thanks!!
same as an old volvo / scania fuel injection pump set up really.
that was interesting
Interesting, was wondering about the alignment, the master spline making it quite easy. Good engineering.
Just out of curiosity, how does the damping work on a Bell 222. Somethimg about Nordomatic system. ???? Just looking at the rotorhead cant see anything that takes out vibration. Maybe it works lower down in the main gearbox.? Enjoying your video's.
Interesting video , never heard of a frequency adapter part before ? What does that mean ? I can see it acts as a pivot block of sorts. There seems to be very little scope for the blade to flap ? Just curious if could explain a bit further, thanks.
The three movements for the rotor head are lead-lag, flapping, & feathering. The frequency adapter allows some lead lag, it also restricts the movements with a dampening effect. Flapping occurs with the flexing of the star flex The feathering occurs at the thrust bearing. It is also the pivot point for the lead lag motion.
Hay cool , great term the broom closet , was wondering what was in that box before.
Cool video thanks for sharing. I get why the teeter hinge is there , just wondering whats the effect when there is a fixed lead /lag in place , how does it differ than a heli withva lead/lag damper. ?
Great video , never knew that flexible part was in there , very simple cool way of doing the job of securing in place.
Yea kreativ bosku thank motivasinya sir!!
Nice job. I saw your PT6 vid long ago. I have flown the PTE331 on seaplane Caravan for 3 years. I loved that engine, with the "slow turn" gearbox, the taxi noise was reasonable, the in-flight prop noise is actually quiet. It's a tough engine, our pilots did all kinds of bad things to them. Not a single inspection found any damage. The only issue was the temp/torque limiter with the single red line computer. Part of it was the installation, I think. Once i started flying the engine "manually" (ttl/single red line off), just using the max egt vs oat charts, bulletproof engine. Thx again.
Hi! A&P student here. I have a question- the temp sensors in the gas producer section . . . I understand they are wired in parallel. So if one fails, there are still the others. Does the pilot get a "sensor out" light or anything? Or does the temp get averaged with the remaining sensors and throw off the actual temp? How does that work?
Great question! They are wired in parallel, they average out the temperature between the power turbines and the compressor turbines. If a high temp probe goes out the average reading will be lower than before. And vise versa. There is no light.
@@halhobenshield5931 Got it, thanks. Is there then a chance the pilot, seeing the temp reading a little low, might add more fuel and cook the engine?
Super helpful, thank you!
👍
This is a good one. Thanks for making it.
Hi. How are you doing 😊? I would like to know what materials is the support assy and sleeve made from.
Great Show and Tell on Bell Rotor Heads.
What are the borescope ports ?
I don’t think this engine has a requirement for boroscoping. If it did we usually would use the fuel nozzle hole. We usually are looking at the hottest parts for damage like the first stage compressor turbine guide vane (nozzle).
Yea kreatif sir berarti semua pakai greavitasi berputar semua gods sir thank motivasion keren !..
Mostly right but not completely. Read the flight manual and Garrett TPE-331 manual.
We have FAA approved for combustion liners and nozzle shields.
You are a smart fella but what is abnormal about a md500 engine
The engine is installed at 45 degrees.
Your videos are extremely helpful! I am in A&P school and have been tasked with researching this engine! How does the fuel control unit work? and how are air pressures read throughout the engine
@01:57..." this is Overspend Governor ". Thanks for pointing it out. Glad if if could get the ' technical drawing ' of this crucial / critical part. 🎯. **** Edited :- " Overspeed " 🤦🤭.
Hii Hobensheild ! ! ! Very great content,. thanks 👍. ( & subscribe this channel today ). 👌.
ty ty ty!
Back in1969 I was with the 605th we did depot maintenance.I did engines, engine alignment, rigging, jet cal, test flight vibe check, linear act.repair and trouble shooting in the Nam heat.
Helpful, thanks
thanks very much, clear info
Perfeito...obrigado!
explain cooling on the rotating turbine blades
Finest video on crimping...nice job Hal❤
question, why is the torque meter sitting at 100 percent ? thanks
Why is the part called a frequency adapter? In any case, it's a bearing, and it performs the function of a bearing. Unless it has more functions. What I see is that the traction bearing inserted in the "star" performs the other functions of advance delay. Thank you.
Thank you well explained
Very easy.
I have exactly the same Harbor Freight vise.
i didnt understand what happens with the engine when changing the settings.
Great and easy explanation! Super Job. Thanks a lot!
God id love to get my hands on one thats warped or just generally cant be rebuilt for airworthiness and put it in something.
What are the straps for?
When spinning the blades will want to fly out via centrifuge force. It looks like the straps counteract that force while also allowing the blade to turn when the pitch setting is changed via the collective.
Best material I have seen in 30 years of flying. Congratulations and thank you very much.
Greetings
Very grateful for this video. You have made it possible for me to understand how to use and set up the AFM8. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. BT

Amazing, getting ready to do the initial on this aircraft for a small airline! Thank you captain
Exactly what I wanted. Thanks
Thank you! In school now for my A and P this helps a lot
