The thick pizza is not the typical roman pizza, tht's flat. That's the Naples kind of pizza... ok you said it later in the video.

Well, it's made of floor, but it's not exactly "bread". It's "white pizza" (or focaccia). It contains oil (olive or sometimes sunflower oil), the salt is in grains and on the top. Typical of Rome, you won't find it i.e. in Naples.

It is a terrible place

I lived for over 20 years in Malta. This is a place today that does not belong in the EU. There is nothing European about it. There might not be any green left in another 10 years. Please do not think you can have a quality life for anything under 40.000 EUR

I was in Malta in Sept 2023. Never will I visit again. Overcrowded, dirty streets and buses constantly full and not stopping and when they do only 1 or 2 people can get on. The hotel staff who were not European were useless and their English was poor and forget about Italian (which I speak). I cannot recommend this island nation at all. Save your money and go to Sicily or Spain. Apparently though it was a beautiful place once.

Greece one of the most beautiful countries around the world. Hospitality, history, firendly people and traditional food. Greek souvlaki/gyros/moussakas are the best. Many people try to make Greek gyros, but the Greeks make it in the best way. If you try that in Greece you will never try it anywhere else.

I guess after living under Turkish rule for 5 centuries Greeks learned how to prepare Turkish dishes and call it Greek food.

Since when did Doner Kebab become Greek food? I guess like many other stolen Turkish dishes claimed to be Greek food. Like Imam Bayildi right. Such a Greek name right? Wrong it's Isa Turkish dish with a Turkish name. Like dolma becoming dolmades, lokma becoming lokmades. It's really simple just add letters "des" and it becomes Greek food. Yogurt was invented by Turks centuries ago became a Greek yogurt. Tulumba and Baklava are also pure Turkish sweets.

I live in chania, and tried this restaurant only once. They load the food with salt, and i couldnt eat it. Many others have reported the same, which is such a shame. Less heavy handed on the salt please, guys...

I’m Maltese, many better places to visit than there. I would suggest a nice small village restaurant with very minimal decoration and irrelevant stuff. The food will be next level. Try Tal Petut restaurant in Birgu.

Best tip for anyone going to Greece. Spend no more than four days in Athens. One day to unwind and 3 to check the city and sights. Get the next plane out of Greece and head straight to Crete. Whilst the people of Crete want the tourism dollar. They are far more interested in making you happy first. Crete will not disappoint.
