Kinship's Bond has got to be my favourite map of all time. Everytime I play FE7 and I get to the second half, I always find myself looking forward to it. It might have to do with the fact that Heath is one of my favourite characters in the game, but even playing the map itself is a delight knowing what came before (I find New Resolve kind of boring) and after it (Living Legend, the game's resident desert map, and Genesis, that damned labyrinth).

lynns team left to right (Sain->kent->lynn->will) or lvl4 sain, lvl 5 kent, gem lynn, and will is whats left . .. . oh GOD bafe WHY, even the JAGEN!!! oh god my roster, my poor poor roster, thank god i have my main lord as a theif, my one healer remaining, and a brick of an archer (good def/res)

These have been fun (Just finished binging all of the attempts so far). I also decided to play along... You guys keep killing off my healers...

Good list i just wish sacred stones chapter 15 Scorched Sands was on the list not only does the chapter have 2 strong bosses including valter (the guy who wounded seth in the prolog) 2 bezerkers and a horde of wyverns but it also has the best items in the game and as its where the 2 routes come together doing it from different routes can change your approach to the map so its replay ability is super high IMO

Gonna back to back as I binge these to say you really need to start remembering that steel weapon drop on the fighter

You really need to put that steel sword on the fighter again for these, forgetting it on the units it ACTUALLY is meant for is super unfair, and it would make a massive difference for getting past the myrm and cav fairly for the fast swords like Lyn and Colm, who have enough raw speed to check the weight and actually feel the damage boost.

Amelia does so well because the recruit classes start lower but even out by getting 10 extra levels with pretty great growths. General Amelia is nutty because she usually can double even as a general and her defenses are stupidly high😂

Fiora was one of my best units on my recent Hector Hard Mode run where she was an unexpected crit queen so I’d personally like to see her

Finally someone who gets it! Lyn's strength lies in her speed and skill stats, and relying on doding attacks. She is the FIRST dodge tank we've all met! I'm sicking tired of hearing complaints about her, that "She is thrash tier" and "You should replace her as soon as possible". You can make a fast unit significantly stronger, by equipping a strong weapon onto him/her. But you can barely make a strong unit faster (you can use lighter, but weaker weapons). Some might say: "Legendary weapons doesn't make a good fire emblem unit!" And for them here is a fact: Legendary weapons are the privliege of the player, Enemy reinforcements are the privliege of the enemy!

Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I don’t think enemy generics have been randomized. Scott done goofed yet again. Also, the reason Winter’s Howl has 15 might is because it is a devil weapon, since all randomized devil weapons are granted +5 might and increased weapon experience to compensate.

Just a heads up in case you ever do try randomised Lyn mode: it tends to soft lock you on the chapter with Matthew as without a guaranteed thief, there aren't enough door keys. You'd just need to modify the seed to not randomise thieves or add in some other fix but best to know in advance

Perhaps we can finish the trainee trio with Ewan next? Or show how bad Eirika is by having her brother smash through the gauntlet like it's nothing.

I'm seeing some Sophia love in the comments. Let's see it happen! also I wanted to say good stuff as usual! I did notice in this video that some rooms near the beginning are smaller than rooms later on in the gauntlet, causing situations where the enemies are able to get hits on the player, which COULD be affecting the end result as you will always inevitably take a ton of damage from "the weaker" enemies.

Wendy did better than I expected, considering how much she gets clowned on as one of the worst units in the franchise, but she still did terrible. I think getting those points says less about her own quality though, and more about just how terrible those first six enemy units are. 11 speed doubling against level 20 enemies is insane, I guess I never realized just how aggressively garbage gba archers, thieves, and monks were. Which makes the Dorcas run even more embarrassing for our boy

I want to see Ogier give the gauntlet a go. No mercenaries yet and he’s probably the most forgettable one, so it makes sense to do him first as a baseline. For peg knights, I’d like to see Farina. I feel like I never use her because she joins so late, and her role as kind of the balanced peg knight seems like she’d do well in the gauntlet.

i would like to see the Fire Emblem 7 pegasus knights (florina,fiora,farina) and maybe all three for the fun run.
