I bought this yesterday to play on the Steam Deck and i really like it so far. If you are considering playing on Deck there are some changes to make - turn off motion blur, depth of field, chromatic aberration and film grain. Then set upscaling to AMD FSR 2 and set the sharpness to .3. Not perfect, but it makes the game far less blurry.

Dont buy the game if you pretend to play with controlers. Its a game suitable for mouse and keyboard. The developers made the craft menu our worst enemy . You struggle to put 2 sticks togheter. Its indeed a hell, especially if you play with a controller. I cant enjoy the game. I spent 20 minutes alone trying to put branches on a fire, couldn't. Opened RUclips tutorial, still couldn't make the damn fire. Subnautica did 10 times better. Even the crappy stranded deep is better (and yet it is still a bad game in navigating the craft menu). Beautiful game, disgusting crafting menu system. Theres a lot of games of the same genre that did it better. Why the heck theres a cursor when you play in a console? I dunno, just imagine pausing gta or zelda or kingdom hearts and theres a mouse cursor in the menu? Even the simplest task takes minutes to do. This game has zero quality of life for console players.

this game is still a buggy piece of crap. Bought it for 4 dollars, the amount of bugs still in it is insane. I did a quest that was supposed to reward me but didn’t even though the quest giver said he’d reward me. Searched it up on reddit and it turns out it’s a bug that’s been in the game for YEARS and they haven’t even bothered to fix it.

It’s like when it’s good, it’s amazing, but when it’s bad, there’s just zero enjoyment to it. In my experience, there’s far more bad times than good. You spend way too much time running from spawn to the action and getting killed by people you can’t see. And the guns are horrendous

To be perfect this game needs damage simulation , night races and preparing for it and mods . Does anyone heard about game called Street legal racing redline ? this game is what i dicribed about but its very old. It used to be very fun but game itself crashed alot . You start as guy with not much money , buy used car , go racing at night and earn money ,fix it , put inside custom parts, go race again and crash car and go fix again , lol.. so never ending fun. and it used to be also very detail part change , especialy engine

Basically yes if you enjoy looter/weapon collection games and one with different difficulty settings. Its not the easiest game to figure out for just anyone to pick up but, it is definitely worth it form I can tell. As of right now too it’s on sale with the Black Friday deals so honestly if you want something to sink hours into for under $40 this is a great option!

Game looks nice. I installed it during a free weekend and tried it out. I started a new solo game and landed on one of 4-5 pre-selected landing locations as a new player. As soon as I stepped out of my pod, I took my first 2 or three steps, and a level 72 wolf ran over and killed me right next to my pod. I swiftly shut down the game and uninstalled it.
