Stock K24 RSX Turbo on E-Tune
Nooby driver, 1st gear pull on completely stock k24a2 turbo. Was a friends car, never hit the dyno so no idea on power. Pulled great for what it was though. I have never really drove a turbo FWD so excuse the rookie pull.

Not really a diy video but a video showing what all you need to get AC going. For the record. - I don't recommend you use a junkyard condenser (which I am doing) simply because it could be contaminated/clogged. BU...

Can you list the mods for that setup
I have a 92 cx with the d15 which didn't come with A/C from factory. Is the p54/p7j ac bracket only for b series engines? Can I just use any 92-95 civic ac bracket that came with ac from the d series?
Yeah only for B series. Any 92-95 d series bracket will work for the d15b8 you have. I'm not 100% if 96-00 single cam brackets work, I want to say yes but don't quote me on that.
My quick release did not come with that clock spring where did you get yours
What size tires and what trans/final drive?
Faster than my v8 Hemi 🎉
Hell yeahh... Thx bro. Very informative video. Now I just hurt for parts and wires.

yea thats the one

K24 turbo on my hatch and k24 on my Integra lol
What gears u using?
02-04 type s. Stock.
@@Dee-EH2 those gears sound really short
FBO and only 225hp?
Correct.
That's average
Nice, thank you
Like a bat out of hell, that's fast
Did you use stock k24 head or the k20 type r head?
Its a stock k24a2. No head swapped.
the k24a2 head breathes just as good as a k20, you just need the vtc gear and oil pump to rev high
What trans set up
Lol every gear if just hops up 20
What transmission do you have?
02-04
Bro i got the exact setup for my ek! Looks dope thnks for the video!
God damn that’s fast for 230hp your either cap 🧢 or that is 1200 lbs
It was downhill
Downhill and the speedo is off
@@PopiWa_tv bruh, it was a slight downhill to an instant uphill. Plus that's a 2.4 stock motor in a tin can 😆 its fast
You must be new to Hondas. Runs run of the mill
@@PopiWa_tvthis is any basic h2b or k swap. Nothing special.
If you also want the option of a cabin filter for this year Honda Civic (1992-1995), the evaporator/cabin filter air tunnel assembly from a 1997-2001 Honda CR-V is a straight bolt in from what I remember. There's a forum online where it shows you what parts you would need.
You need to replace the whole evaporator assembly on a 92-95 Civic with a 1st gen cr-v to get the cabin air filter to work. If it's a must to have the cabin air filter, it's simply a evap removal/install with the added parts for the filter. You need the t-stat from your civic's evap, the CR-V one will not work. If you have all the necessary parts, it's an easy, tedious job especially if you still have the dash installed. Without the dash, super easy.
@@Dee-EH2 Yes, it was an easy install. Yes, you will need to use a t-stat (also known as the temperature sensor for the evaporator) from a '92-'95 Honda Civic since the one on the CR-V is not compatible. One thing to point out, the t-stat plug for the '92-'93 is different from the '94-'95. So keep in mind to use the one for your year vehicle. I had a tahitian green pearl 1992 Honda Civic DX that did not have air-conditioning from the factory. Removal of the glove box and the metal bracket behind it gave me enough room to do the install. I went to an auto salvage yard and got everything that I needed in the engine bay from a '94 Honda Civic. I pulled the evaporator/cabin filter core assembly from an '01 Honda CR-V. I installed a new cabin filter, drier and replaced the o-rings on all the fittings and lines. After everything was put together, I went to an auto parts store to rent an air conditioning diagnostic gauge set and a vacuum pump. I pulled a vacuum on the system to see if there was any leaks and also to remove out any moisture. Charged the system with refrigerant after everything checked out good and the air-conditioning was nice and cold.
I tired this but as soon as I put the key in it it starts honking did I strip to much wire?
You may have contact where it there shouldn't be.
@@Dee-EH2 it makes contact with the screw
You might your steering wheel wiring off that means it’s making constant connection
Still impressive that you were catching up to a 220+whp 9th gen back great run
Something aint right about the speedometer
Yeah his speedo is off. It's not accurate
5 speed?
02-06 type s trans
@@Dee-EH2 I assume a 6 speed or 5 speed is a straight a swap ? No other stuff needed going from one to the other ?
@@bradster1012 if I remember correctly you don't need anything different. If you already have the 5 speed, maybe just source a 6th gear and throw in LSD while you're at it.
Strong Azz NA power.
Makeshift wire that mimics a clock spring; just solder or super glue to hub works too
What a race
Nice bro.. approximately how many hp with the TBS j35?
Very well done. Excellent way to utilize power
300hp
nigga got straight to it. perfect
Just heads up, anybody going from r12 to r134, you must swap all the ac lines, evaporator, ac condenser and dryer. R134 on 94-95 civic has larger port than r12 for 92-93 civic. Just letting ya know, i went thru the whole process.
Who tuned?
Humble tuned
Nice i think mine should make at least 250hp then i got stage 2 cams
@@onebaldman4719 stock block? Possibly depending on supporting mods.
@@Dee-EH2 yep stock k24a had it remote tuned by greengotuned, but havent got it on the dyno for numbers. All i know is my 4th gear will do over 130mph lol..
The RSX-S here has the higher, less appealing final drive for an NA motor, 4.3fd. The Civic has a lower final drive, 4.7, giving it better acceleration. You can clearly see it once the cars are nearing top speed. Match the Civic against a 2005-2006 RSX-S and see the difference. Also the stock exhaust is killing the dudes tune. Sick race though
There is a video where I ran a blue 06.
Thank you for your video, it pretty much gives me an idea on what to expect and do. My civic is a 95 and didn’t come with AC and I’m thinking about it. It has the bracket for the compression and the plug to wire it. Will it be possible for you to upload a video on how or where to start? Like what do I install first and second and so on. Or what would your advice be for me? I’m a beginner in this and might take me some time to figure it out. Thanks in advance again.
Late reply as I am not as active anymore. If you watch the video and understand what all is needed, it really doesn't matter in what order you install anything. I would start out in the dash area and get your evap installed there, come out, do your hard lines and so on and so forth. It's quite simple.
Okay my friend after a long time I’m checking your video again because I finally found parts that I wanted. Here’s my project today. I have a 95 coupe and got a 92 hatchback. The 92 has all the ac system and fully functional so my plan is to take it all out there and transfer it to the 95 coupe. Same question I asked you before do I start any where? Let’s maybe start with the tiny and thick lines? Or start with the condenser and compressor first? And if I took the dryer out and put it the other car let’s in a 20-30 window will it work or do I still need to get a new one? Thank you very much again.
Damn that shit pulled
I can’t stand people that say “full bolt ons” like that’s so vague lol. Just state what your car specifically has for context.
