It looks like you're playing those single dominoes as a first move. Am I mistaken? I thought the first move always had to be a double domino

Would it be unreasonable of me to make a house rule that if no player has a double, then each player must draw one bone from the bone yard until a player has a double? That seems much simpler.

I don't understand why you would keep score with lines and circles instead of digits. Wouldn't it be time-consuming/difficult to add up all those symbols to get to 150?

"CAPICÚÚÚ!!" We say this in Puerto Rico when we "Shut down" or "Close" both sides, ending the game & getting 100 points, along with whatever bones your opponent is "caught" with.

At 6:54 minutes you put down double 3 but no score occurred. How come? I think it has something to do with things adding up to 5. (??) Also, you never explain why the scoring line went angular. I gathered that is equal to five, but why not a vertical line? Thanks for the instruction.

I was taught first play determined ahead of drawing initial hands by pulling for high domino. That player shakes and gets to play first and can play any bone regardless if its a double or not. First double played is the spinner. From then on, first play rotates around table clockwise with that player shaking the bones. [ 5's scored as marks ]. Is highest double for first play a hard and fast rule?

Great video! But You never really explained why a 3 and 1 is called a BOGUS. And is it always a 3/1? And,maybe I missed it, but I assume that every time you hit a multiple of 5 on the board that is counted together with the final score of the round if you win?

This is the area I am struggling with. Point scoring with spinner, so you use it on the first two hands (either side of the spinner) but then after that you can only count the ends?

Sometimes you count the doubles, other tines you don't?

After double 3 you stop scoring? Why?

Why does the first score only happen on the third play? Why do you sometimes count the middle 6/6 numbers in the score and other times dont? And why towards the end of the game do you stop scoring?
