PLENTY happening at the PIN / GOLD COAST FISHING
After a long time planning, I finally got out with Rodney from Addict tackle Tweed Heads.
The plan was to target flathead at the Jumpinpin. We ticked that off and lots more as plenty of different species hit the deck on an enjoyable day with Rodney.

I bought myself a drone and the opportunity to use it came up first time out. Its not easy to drive it and fish but the footage is wicked!!
My New Sounder Setup
Просмотров 4,3 тыс.14 дней назад
It's been a very long time coming but I have finally changed my sounder set up in the boat! In the video, I go through some of the sets in getting it all up and running, initial thoughts and it wouldn't be a vid without a couple sneaky fish too.
Fishing the Gold Coast’s Jumpinpin
Просмотров 9 тыс.Месяц назад
Heading down to the Jumpinpin for a look what’s about. Had a plan of looking for a bigger Jew, try for some flatty’s and even a few bream. The start of the day was very slow but once the tide started to run in, the fish showed up and a fun little session unfolded.
Risked the weather and it paid OFF!!

Despite a very ordinary forecast I hit Moreton bay to make the most of the snapper fishing before the closure. Rain all day was supposed to happen but I woke late, checked the radar and sent it!! Glad I did cause the fishing was pretty dang good!
Fishing my new BFS combo. Am I doing right?

BFS Combo Shimano callcuta conquest BFS Dobyns Sierra ultralight finesse 6’5” 2-8lb Sunline egi pe #1 Sunline Blackstream 10lb leader Biwaa TailGunR 3.5” Daiwa 1/4oz 3/0 jighead.
I can't wait to get back HERE/ Exploring new ground
Просмотров 7 тыс.Месяц назад
This weeks video is again away from home fishing areas I'm not familiar with and having a ball doing it! What was supposed to be an overnighter, ended up being a half day fishing but boy it was a good day. Great mix of jigging wrecks, fishing headlands and even had a look on the flats. I can't wait to get back there!
Gladstone creek fishing is epic!!
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.Месяц назад
Away up north for work and had red hour fishing in the creek out of Gladstone. My little 3.5" Biwaa grub did the damage on a number of species over a nice size rock bar.
It’s getting cold but the fishing is HOT

Fishing Ultra-light PAYS OFF

This week I'm fishing a long way south in Moreton Bay finding shelter from the wind yet again. I visit a few spots I used to fish regularly and find good numbers of fish that respond well to my ultra-light presentations.
Moreton Bay turns it ON!

Moreton Bay turns it on for me with plenty of variety and action. The weather started average but before I headed off it was a proper good day out there. Plenty tips on chasing multiple species in the protected waters of Moreton Bay.

Anzac Day was MAGIC / Boat update
Просмотров 7 тыс.3 месяца назад
Very casual start to Anzac Day, leaving about 10am to enjoy the great weather with the wife. Plan was to have a quick fish, a swim and relax. We pulled up to the first spot to look for squid and it turned it on pretty quickly. Next stop was beautiful Horseshoe Bay for a swim. On the way home we ran in to some tuna and after a few lure changes, I finally got an eat.....
What a place to fish!
Просмотров 7 тыс.3 месяца назад
This week I sneak out for an afternoon session while up north. I was hoping for better weather but there is always somewhere to get out of the wind. Going back to an area I fished many years ago brought back some great memories and brought protection from the wind too. This session I showed the fish a few options but it was one lure they really wanted.

Hey Peter, love the vids mate! Any chance you could do an in depth series on using side scan to find fish? When you say big school coming through or I’m guaranteed to hook up here, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the tip to load up and wishing I could see the sounder. That confidence level sets you apart from others on RUclips and keeps me coming back. Very satisfying 😊
@@harrykinnaird2664 thanks for the kind words Harry 🙏. Thinking about a 3rd camera for the sounder (which will make editing harder again). Just getting used the the new units before doing much sounder stuff but will get there.
Hi Pete, great video again mate and nice to see you getting into the drone thing. I’ve got a few drones myself and have a few tips I can offer that may make life a bit easier for you when fishing alone. The Mini 3 is a great drone you have btw. Happy to also do some stuff for you if that’s of interest, no strings attached mate. I do some work with another very popular Brissy based RUclipsr, just for the fun of it. Not been out in awhile but we used to do fairly well on rat kings at straddy inshore. Heaps of fun around the poles.

Hey Pete just wanted to ask some questions about your first location in the video do the Jew there like light litre and what’s the best kinda time of day / tide for there and recommendation for lures nomads vibes? Squidtrex? fished there a few times caught nothing then pulled hooks on something big 😭
@@josephsimmons1703 the water is very clear atm and going light seems to be the go. No sharks around so you can take your time too. I find the hookup rate average with the squidtrex but that’s just me mate .

Where Livescope can be very useful is in perspective mode using it to search large areas of shallow water in the Southern Bay in particular. Cheers
@@landrover1155 I'm using mega 360 for the same purpose
Hi Peter. Great to see you have gone Garmin mate. The Livescope is addictive. The SideVu is excellent with the GT56 but i recommend you run the scroll speed at either 5 or on auto. TVG off for most of the Bay, and i reckon your brightness is a bit hot - i would dial that back a bit. If you set both DownVu and SideVu both at mega frequency you will find the SideVu darkens up - so best to set DownVu on 800mhz. Cheers
