      Hi Holly! My workouts can be followed by most people and are not directed to any particular age group. You're observant and yes, I have been taking some time away from YT to focus on building the Workout Club for Equestrians. It takes a lot to run a one-woman business and I have needed to prioritize. But there will certainly be more videos to come in the future 😊

    Love it, short but with many positions. My trianer told me to start practicing yoga and that's what I'm doing almost every evening (not sure if all of them are yoga poses but I believe some are)

      So glad you enjoyed the stretches. I do take some inspiration from yoga although I am not a 'yogi' 😉 Doing stretching and mobility work is definitely amazing for riders, so your trainer I spot on! Throw some strength work in there to and you're golden 👌✨💪

    Will this make my calves /thighs bigger? I want to strengthen my legs for horse riding but i do not want to make them bigger

      Hi there. I know a lot of people (especially women) are concerned about becoming bulky, but please don't be. It takes a tremendous amount of effort and heavy weights to get 'big thighs'. What this will do is make you stronger and more effective in the saddle 😊❤️

      @@HorseLearnerFitness hej Idun thanks for replying, it’s mostly about keeping my core balance in the end of a training session, i train wednesday with jump training and then Thursday dressage training, mostly at the end of the jumping session my body is toast and i train with younger people ( i am 44 years) so i need to work harder to keep up with them 😂 , have been considering extra workouts for a while and now i found your training and i will try it out for some weeks and see if it makes a difference. smiles from Sweden 🇸🇪

    See if you have toes that point out more then the other can that be tight hip flexor or tight hip Abductors? Or the saddle as some days they are fine and others they point out more then others

      Hi Joanne. Ita hard to say without seeing you ride and exercise, but since you say that it only happens sometimes, it could be linked to tightness in your hips (which can fluctuate). How about trying 1-2 weeks of dynamic and static stretching of the hips and see if it makes a difference for you?

      @@HorseLearnerFitness i would send you vidios of me riding and show you what i mean by different saddles make me stiffer i ride at a riding school not my own horse unfortunately, but yes this is the odd thing yesterday my instructor said my left toe was pointing out more which my left hip is my stronger one then my right and i had my hip and leg in line with saddle girth so it wasn't pointing out to much ive spent 1 year strnegthing my muscles core etc and hips to be a better rider and my theory is that those saddles are possibly makeing me tighter

    Hi! Just want to say that yesterday i had a really bad lesson and couldnt control my horse when there were other horses around me. Today i desided to do an equestrian workout and choosed yours. Gotta say im 10 min in and already destroyed my legs. Probably wont finish the workout but will try to do it every day until my next lesson beacause i train once a week. I really believe there will be a huge change and for sure will update u(thanks for the video<333)☺ edit:i really felt so much stronger on the sadle and probably the workout is helping. yesterday i rode a really big horse but i managed him more easily

    My coach recommend that I do lunges to lengthen and strengthen my hip flexors. I can't properly follow the canter with my hips. I literally did this video once-- with resistance bands and small weights when I could. She could tell I did it and I sat the canter so much better! Thanks for this video :)

    It has taken five minutes for me to get tired but my teatshe says if I want to ride I need to work out I am trying my hardest but this is so hard😢 Edit I can't finish it but I will try to get better I tried my hardest ❤its so hard😢i will keep you posted and see if it gets better I will do it tomorrow to and update you this weare I stopped! 11:27

      Hi there! It's great that you're working out to improve your riding, but if you just started then this video is quite challenging! Try some of the other videos on the channel that are shorter and easier and then you can come back to this one (and you'll notice your progress!). Try to be your own cheerleader and give yourself credit for all the effort you are putting in. You got this 💪😊

    Pelvis tuck, glute bridge, sliding sit-ups, sit-up pulsing, airplane taps /bird dog right then left, hip flexor pulsing, low plank w knee taps, down dog -plank -down dog, side plank pulses, left oblique reaches left then right, ab curl switches/ bicycle, 1000s . Personally I would like some verbal ques for each exercise but thank you for this video demonstration.

    you have so many videos i don’t know where to start😭. i don’t work out but i want to start. i ride 3x a week, 4 if i’m not busy. i had a show just this weekend and i realized it was hard to stay in a light seat. (i do hunter/jumper type stuff with my horse). my trainer said i should work on my lower back, core, and all around leg muscles but mainly inner thigh. given all that, what videos of yours do you recommend?

      Hi Clay! How cool that you found this channel! Yes, you have lots of options to work through here and if you're just getting started I suggest starting with the shorter videos. I also have a few beginner videos that you can search for. Check out the playlists the focus on different bodyparts /muscles so you can target the ones that your trainer pointed to. Most important is to not get overwhelmed - just start somewhere! So happy to have you here - let me know how it goes 😊❤️

    I thrown from a horse and broke my spine. By Gods will im not palized and will be able to ride again in September 🎉 your vidoes have besn so so helpful in helping me build back up all the muscles i lost over this last year ❤ i cannot thank you enough.     question about the hip airplanes, i feel like every time i do them i lean to the side a lot, is that normal? you make it look like it should be completely straight forward, and when i do that i cant bring my back leg up all the way

      Hi Steph! Great question 👍 This exercise is challenging for the balance so don't worry if it takes you a little time to master it. Your hips should be even and it's OK if your leg doesn't lift super high. The most important is that you control the movement and use the grounded leg and hip to stabilize. The fact that the leg doesn't come all the way up yet could be that you need a little more strength in the glutes and hamstrings, but it could also relate to your flexibility. I hope that helps! 😊
