For inside a small trail, i think this would be perfect for home defense. Plus fun to just shoot at a range or back yard exploring water bottles.

So a couple of questions. 1) when will you post a comparative video shooting various shot loads eg birdshot, buckshot, slugs without the flash hider and with? 2) what gauge and model shotguns is this intended to be used with? 3) is this currently available and in stock? Tokarev makes a 20 round for it. I have the 10 round mags and I can’t imagine having the 20 round considering how long the 10 is.

Just got mine in. Seems to be high quality pistol. I have strong hands and have trouble racking the slide. Is this normal? Nothing else in my collection even comes close.

I just bought the TBP 12. Love it..a beast. No problems with the ammo, but as he says over, insertion of the mag is a thing. I waited until I saw a wear pattern on the mags then gently sanded those areas down to smooth them out. Minimal sanding then use aluminum black if you want to bring the color back. Also definitely lube the key areas lightly. Now mags fall out after approximately 75 rounds.

To me the walnut handles are beautiful but needed a recess ground in for thumb relief that was easily done with a dremel. I hollowed out from the mag release to the just under the beaver tail using the depth of the head of the mounting screw as limit. rounded off perfectly making the grip perfect..

What’s the choke pattern that these will accept? I’m looking at getting a suppressor for mine.

Great video man and I also wish I saw this before going to the range. Two points: 1. Completely right on the mag. Gently insert it until you hear click then pull it down to properly seat it. Couldn't figure out what was going on but luckily instructor at range figured it out. 2. Should have mentioned this in the video. Light load gas piston vs heavy load gas piston. I paid a gunsmith $25 and he swapped out the light for the heavy as I plan on firing buck shot and rifled slugs. Major issue with this is when I tried to revert back to low recoil bird shot shells the shells wouldn't cycle properly because there wasn't enough force and I had to manually pull the lever back to force the gun to cycle to the next round. Wish someone would have told me this first.

its a fun range toy but thats honestly about all its good for. The controls are so awkward it would be hard to use in any efficient way. simply loading a mag let alone the mag release button is just hard to reach without completely changing your grip each time. i wish they added ambi mag release button, that would solve a lot of issues.

Dont have this but i do have two bullpup shotguns. Love them. Nothing better for home defense.

For the price I might pick one of these up. But I have to say, it would go a long ways to make me feel like this was an honest overview of this weapon if you were to address the main issue. That being that this isn't a Benelli and that means that it won't cycle ammo as well and the tolerances built into it are going to be less forgiving. This is a great weapon for the price but that means you need to stick to ammo that runs and baby the weapon in places where it needs babying. Unless of course you think an over-inserted state for a magazine is a properly engineered condition. Not giving you crap. I will probably buy one of these. But at the same time, being just a touch more honest than necessary means that people understand that you know the issues and you're not trying to gaslight them about it. For the cost compared to the quality, you should have no concerns that you'll suffer sales loss due to lost customers. I think the actual truth is the opposite.

Just picked up one of these in nickel for 200 bucks for black friday. From what I keep hearing, it's worth every penny. I'll update this once I've put it through it's proper paces.

I bought one of these a little while back. First time i disassembled to clean it one of the staked in detent ball on the barrel nut came out of its recess and locked up the barrel nut. I called sds about the issue and they send me another barrel. It took quite some timd to get. The new barrel arrived damaged. It was packed in a thin bubble mailer with the muzzle sticking out of the mailer. It was all dinged up and useless. Called sds back and asked why they would ship a barrel that way. Supposed to send another barrel but never got it. Cheap gun, cheap service. Beware.

Super helpful! I am a gorilla mag jammer, so I learned the insert and pull down thing on the first mag. LOL. Thought I got a bad one. At what point should I be using the heavy piston? Slugs and 000 seem lighter than recommended...
