Moving house meant I had to dismantle my live steam garden railway so here is a photo montage of some my trains and a few others that have ran on this line. It was sad removing the old line that gave me years of pleasure but I will build another.

A visiting Live Steam SPC 4-4-0, scratch built by Gordon Watson, pulls a South Pacific Coast passenger consist of Carter Bros coaches and while my early Accucraft C-16 2-8-0 was on freight duties.

Live steam Aster gauge 1 French 232TC locomotive on a local passenger service to gare de Nuevy. As this live steam loco is manually operated with a very light train it was hard to control the speed while filming but worked out OK.

A couple of friends dropped around with their narrow gauge British engines for a quick steamup on my railroad. I didn't get to film them all but here is a small selection.

I just managed to catch some images and video of the Puffing Billy Climax that only runs a few times a year not far from me and it's nice to see the wood smoke, hear the busy cylinders and gear drive clanking away. It makes a change from the usual 2-6-2 Baldwin designed side tank locomotives that usually run on this 2'6" gauge line.

On a sunny afternoon I ran my Accucraft D&RGW K-27 with a passenger train. It is a live steam narrow gauge 1:20.3 scale model running on gauge 1 (45mm) track that is correct for scale 3 foot gauge. Apologies for the handheld camera wobbles and it's difficult to keep the train speed slow with a light load while filming. (Manual control not R/C)

Short video today of my old 40 year old meths fired Aster Baldwin 0-4-2 and my gas fired 0-4-0 Aster Krauss with it's fascinating valve gear both hauling short log trains on my layout.

My friend Brian needed to test his Aster Pacific loco before it goes to a new owner so I thought I'd also run my Bowande 4MT tank loco as well, as it has not been run for over a year. Both steamed well after sitting idle for so long.

A small group had a lazy afternoon running all manner of clockwork and small steam in many different scales on my friend Peter's "Oatlands Line". The track is all hand laid with the outer track dual gauge for gauge 1 and O running and the rest is O gauge.

A small group of gauge one live steamers met on a drizzly day for a run on my friend Roger's track. An assortment of scales from 1/32 to 1/20.3 and many different prototypes were run. It was a fun day and a big thanks to Roger for use of his track.

A fine sunny day and a small group gathered to run a mix of live steam engines (and a rail car) in various scales from 7/8" to 1:20.3 & 1:19 models of very different prototypes all on gauge 1 track. In order of appearance are Darjeeling 0-4-0 0-4-0 Garratt, 0-4-0 Kerr Stuart saddle tank, Isle of Man Rail car, Talylllyn 'Dolgoch' 0-4-0 , Davenport 0-4-0 saddle tank, 'Ventnor' 0-6-0 saddle tank, ...
