As you know the speakers are not medical doctors. Reply to question 1: PSA test is done regularly after the prostrate has been removed due to cancer so that we can monitor if there is a reoccurrence of the cancer. Even if the prostate has been removed, there is a possibility (however small) that some cancer cells may remain in surrounding tissues. I have a further comment on the issue of a possible risk of glaucoma via the "angle" getting narrowed. Rahul's experience helped me to ask my opthalmologist a specific question when I went for an eye check-up. I have high myopia in both eyes and so she asks me to come in to check the intra-ocular pressure and monitor for glaucoma. So l asked her about this narrowing of the "angle" with a possible risk of closed angle glaucoma and the need for iridectomy. Her response was that for high myopes it was the opposite problem - narrowing of the angle is not the issue. But of course the glaucoma can arise in a different way so monitoring has to be done. But there was no need for the procedure that Rahul and Manoranjan have mentioned. I was able to ask the question because of this channel.

Hi Anuradha, really appreciate your detailed feedback. March 10-16 2024 is World Glaucoma Week, and I would be sharing an excellent Glaucoma expert's talk through the channel.

Thanks to Rahul Saxena's story, I became aware about the closed angel glaucoma and discussed it with my ophthalmologist. A check up revealed that the angle was closing and a small procedure was done to rectify it. As I am a angle closure suspect, I will be monitoring the situation regularly from here on. Thank you @HealthStoriesSpeak for bringing these real life experiences to us.
