With the car sitting on its subframe for as long as it has… look over the bottom of that car really good I bought one in similar condition and the torque boxes where the leaf springs mount were rotted and I’m glad I did my due diligence because there’s no way it could be roadworthy the axle would’ve just came out from under the car if I had a good enough bump. nice fine but it may be too rotten.

I would so love to have this car. I had a 71 rally sport just like this one. It was painted. Medium targa blue a 72 corvette color, which was beautiful. I had crager SS wheels all around, a three piece rear spoiler and L88 hood. Good luck you've got a real gem there

What ever happens to this car? I had a citrus green 71. Why put a different motor in it. Rebuild the original 350...that entire car needs to come apart in my opinion. Do you still have this car?

Ok so when your ready to restore your car first make sure your battery terminals are correct negative to a ground sometime people will put a red on the ground for whatever reason second try turning the motor over by hand a breaker bar on the crank bolt if it doesn't turn the motor get some ATF in the spark plug holes let it set a few days try to turn motor by hand again fill the cylinders up with ATF. once engine is turning over clear out any ATF in the cylinders by turning the motor if you have any questions feel free to contact me

I bet that hasn't been on the road since about '78 or '79. What does the plate decal say? Make sure you use those Blue Plates on the car! I hate when Californians get those new White plates when they have an old car. I was the ONLY ONE in my parking garage, about 60 cars, with a Blue plate ('66 Mustang), it was so cool.

If you put a electronic ignition distributor in it you will need the red spark plug wires . That's something you should do that way you don't have to worry about points and condenser
