WIP FLARE system - Howard'Z Arena - True Z Axis interactive usage - IKEMEN Go MUGEN
Yes, you read that right! Jesuszilla, PotS, and Rakíel's additions to the engine have allowed us to use the actual Z axis! No more NotHitBy or PlayerPush complications.
Hold down + start to change lanes, or hold start + attack to have the enemies change lanes via a simple jump. Works on any character out of the box.
Also, this showcases the new SPLASH feature: delay. Wait until the rain happens to show the splashes! Easy-to-configure, as usual. This one is also using my SHINE subsystem for day/night rotation.

A new addition to the JUDGE system, thanks to the people of "Team Project Sakura X". This little crow is a spectator, not a referee, but reacts nonetheless. Also, note how the stage's water puddles now actually reflect the characters! This is because Nightly now allows for it, so all stages are getting updated to support that.

The SHINE system now has full compatibility with customstates! and Supports Mul and Sine PalFX. Debugging has advanced *a lot* and is now in its final phase before a beta is released. This platform system is robust enough to be showcased. Ring Outs are disabled to show how the platforms behave. Slopes are completely integrated. People outside the ring are not "snapped" on platforms (that's normal, they will be out of the ring).

Well, as nice as this one looks, I'll have to recode a lot of stuff to be able to add the middle platforms. Slopes are now an integrated portion of the platform system, not a separate entity. And that makes things a lot more complicated! Then again, it makes things a lot more fun. Still developing guys, be patient. Once everything's ready, a ton nice releases are coming!

CRUMBLE has been updated! Samsho-type breakables are now possible in a much better way! I've left 3 options. 1) Only bladed characters can break them, with any attack. 2) Bladed chars break them with any attack, nonbladed chars break them with specials or hypers. 3) Everyone can break them with any attack. WIP, to be released along the 2.0 version of my system, and some new toys. Stay tuned!

    so aobut scrow effects, you sya for people ot naime toward one whinner but from seing pit ifghter id say you cloud also think about inkoinig a small enemy to hit a plater if near the wall, getting push away from the wall by the crow, and finally the crow trowing itemas at the fighters.     Olvide comentar, si hice todos los pasos al pie de la letra en el archivo Readme, agregué los stages al SELECT. Def, y al AttachedChar le agregue el nombre de mi personaje, ahora... El código que mencionas debe ir en personaje, ese código exactamente en que parte del Def. File del char va???

    Hola que tal, disculpa la molestia pero tengo alguna dudas sobre tus stages interactivos, verás logre conseguir los de Samurai Shodown pero no entiendo del todo ya que por ejemplo, Kuroko si sale y marca golpes etc etc, pero por ejemplo al terminar el primer round el juego así se queda o no termina, tengo que presionar cualquier tecla para que empiece el segundo round y para el final es igual, la pantalla se queda en espera, sabes a que se pueda deber esto???? O tendrás algún tutorial de como instalar los códigos en cada Char?? Ya que creo que ese es el problema 😅😅😅

    Con esta función, me imagino que alguien podría hacer un compilado o remasterizado mas cercano a los Fatal Furys originales. Tiene potencial en el futuro 😊! Por cierto pregunta Sebastian, De pura curiosidad sabes que tanto se puede incrementar la distancia del Z-Axis? Se puede hacer mas lejos como dentro del fondo o la que presentas en el video es la unica distancia que se puede tener en el momento?

      Exacto! El plan es agregar varios stages de los Fatal Fury a mi paquete de escenarios. Pero, como siempre, poder usarlos con todo tipo de personajes. Abajo + Start cambia de plano, Golpe + Start cambia al enemigo de plano. Y sobre el eje Z, creeme que se puede hacer MUY lejos, si querés.

      Yessir, we have a system to fake the Fatal Fury lanes. But this is fake! It's done via NotHitBy + Scaling + Plaftorms. The command to change lanes is Down + Start and if you hold start while attacking, the attacked enemy will fall and change lanes. Now that IKEMEN Go is supporting true Z Axis, we can do it in a simpler way.

    a ver si entendí bien, esto funciona como si fuera el sistema del fatal fury? que tiene 2 líneas? Sé que en ikemen están trabajando en el eje Z. Pero honestamente no me interesa mucho. pero sí me interesaría mucho que el eje Z no sea gradual, y que sea estríctamente 2 líneas como en fatal fury

      Esto es un *falso* eje Z; está escalado y usando NotHitBy, hecho desde antes. Cuando salga el verdadero eje Z reharé casi todo de nuevo seguramente. A mí también me interesa más el sistema tipo Fatal Fury.

    Sebastian Vazquez-Ferrero i ask for this like half a year ago i belive, do ou plan to do anything wiht crowds?, they are a very comoon leemnt in stages and you say you have an idea but so far yo uhavnet really done anything so i wonder if it fails what yo uwere planing on that concept.

      Crowd management is extremely easy to do but I'm not working on it ATM. I've prioritized making the platform system, the two-lane system, and the item system, while updating and expanding everything else. For what you ask: the basic idea is that you have "two crowds"; one with the accelerated animation, one with the normal one, and you hide/show the proper one according to what happens in the match. Thing is this demands more extensive stage editing than usual for a very small detail that doesn't affect gameplay. If you want to compile a group of stages you'd want this added to, go ahead and I might take a look at it in the future.

    I love this. It increases the immersion and makes it feel like the real deal. Only cosmetic issue I have is that on Alpha sprites the shine silhouette becomes too thick literally looking like two fighters standing side by side instead of just a reflection off their bodies.

      Thanks! With my system you can easily adjust thickness of the shade via stage parameters, until you find the thickness you like. :D
